Another violent clash echoed through the sealed chamber as Zyn's massive claw smashed against Arkaal's weapon aura. Poison mist spread wildly through the air while broken stone pieces scattered in every direction.
Arkaal slid backward across the ground before quickly regaining his footing.
His breathing had become slightly heavier than before.
The old man narrowed his eyes as he stared at the wyvern circling around him. At the same time, the faint sound of Aksai's flute continued to echo through the chamber without pause.
The melodies were soft.
Almost gentle.
And yet they were endlessly annoying.
Every time Arkaal tried to focus fully on attacking, the strange sound interfered with his mind. Sometimes his thoughts slowed down slightly. Sometimes his emotions became unstable. Other times, his concentration loosened for a split second.
Normally, such tiny effects would not matter much to someone like him.
But in a battle against a genuine 4th Order beast?
