The loud buzzing of mosquitoes filled the wide hall of a large chamber, moonlight pouring through the open gaps in the great edifice.
In the center of the room, a large altar throned. Upon it was a massive, wasp-like nest. It crawled with countless mosquitoes, flies, moths, and all sorts of other critters, be they capable of flight or not.
The sheer amount of them made their very steps deafening, the crawling and skittering would make anyone feel like these countless insects and bugs were crawling upon their skin…
"Lady Fe, what do you think of this? I managed to make them get along, isn't it cute how they all live in the same nest?" standing near the base of the grand altar were Countess Ada, and the guide of Los Libres, High-Priestess Fe.
"That is indeed quite impressive but… I must admit that I am not the greatest enjoyer of insects, I much prefer the large ones, they are less likely to crawl all over me"
