You see. This is something I didn't quite get in Arcane. This entire prison break mini-section had so many loopholes that it did not make sense. First. Prisoners who left would have instantly been recaptured. And if Warwick had entered they would have all died. Second and more importantly. How did they get Warwick out of the prison anyway? Like was everyone else in the prison afk?

BANG
SCKREEEEEECHHH
The sounds of claws grating through metal had everyone in the bottom floor look up to the elevators.
"That doesn't sound like a elevator." Sevika whispered, instinctually moving her good arm to push everyone away from the elevators.
They barely made it a couple steps back before,
BOOOM
Something landed behind the elevators.
The red lighting in the bottom floor made it s they couldn't exactly see what had just come inside.
CLACK
Jinx noticed the only other prisoner left lock himself back in the cell. She frowned, "You know what that is?"
But he did not reply, instead choosing to walk further into the darkness while holding his hands clasped.
BANG
The door to the elevator flew into the wall beside the elevator.
And slowly, with a growl, it came out.
Instantly, Jinx raised her pistol and aimed it at the creature.
"Don't!" Briar placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You have a better way to fight that?" Jinx asked.
Briar smiled, "Yes." And with that she sprinted toward the creature.
"WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Sevika yelled trying to reach of Briar but she was just out of reach.
"Don't worry Sevika." Daani said as she held her back.
Noticing Briar sprint toward it, the beast roared and began sprinting to her as well.
One second.
That's how long it took for the two of them to reach each other.
The beast swung its claw diagonally upward, trying to send Briar into the ceiling. But Briar twisted herself barely dodging the swipe and slipped under the beast's large arm.
With her arm fully cocked back, she sent a punch right into the beast's body.
Despite being nearly five times her size, the beast was actually lifted off its feet.
It let out a whine before shaking its head and bringing both claws right down on Briar's head.
BANG
The force from the impact sent a wave of dust flying from the two.
Jinx raised her pistol at the beast with conviction and aimed to fire.
"BRIAR!" Sevika yelled running forward but her footsteps stopped as saw Briar blocking the beast's arms with her own above her head.
Isha blinked in surprise.
"She is that strong?" Jinx's pistol shook.
BUDEEW
Her hand jerked from the recoil of the pistol firing. A bolt of blue leapt from her gun and hit the beast in the chest.
The beast stumbled back and flashes on blue spread across its chest.
Briar looked up at the beast struggle and then turned to Jinx, "Why'd you do that? I had him!"
BANG
The beast swung its arm, sending Briar into an empty cell.
It then began walking toward the four.
"It got her...." Sevika whispered.
Daani shook his head, "She is a lot tougher than you think. Keep your eyes on the beast." He let his magic flow.
Jinx raised her gun and fired once more.
BUDEEEW
Another blot of blue hit the beast.
But this time it shook it off instantly.
Daani raised his hand a fired a bolt of pure magic at it.
BOOM
The beast was knocked onto its back from the explosion but it didn't show any signs of damage as it rose back to its feet.
It raised its claws and swung down at the four.
But they dissolved like smoke. Daani's magic creating illusory clones of the four.
It spun around, trying to find them and it found them near the wall at the far end, it leapt at them, trying to spear them all in one go.
Daani closed his eyes feeling magic rush through him ready to be unleashed, his disguise fell apart as his tail came into view.
Isha closed her eyes in fear as she clutched at Jinx's clothing.
BANG
She opened her eyes and the beast wasn't there anymore. In its place, stood Briar.
Daani let go of the magic that was building inside of him.
"What happened to you?" Sevika asked as she saw Briar.
Briar turned to them, "What?"
"You look different." Jinx said
Daani sighed as he recognized the look, "Don't push any more Briar."
Briar shrugged. But she did look different. Her white hair had gotten a tinge of red and her elbows had bone blades jutting out of them.
The beast rose in the darkness, the canisters on its back pumping red fluid into it. It shook itself off.
FSSSSSSHHHHHH
Steam erupted from it.
Briar blinked.
The beast disappeared.
It appeared next to her and swung down, its claws glowing red under the lighting.
Briar's enhanced senses caught the movement and her hand instantly grasped the beast's. Without giving it a chance to move, she swung it over her shoulder and slammed it into the ground.
The beast whined and its back bent upward from the canister slamming into the ground.
Briar planted her feet firmly in the ground and grabbed the beast's legs and slammed it face first into the ground. And in the same motion, she swung it to the left and right slamming it onto the walls.
As she swung once more, the beasts roared and swiped at her hands.
Briar let go mid swing and the beast slammed into the wall and quickly rose to its feet.
Once again, it attacked, but this time it sent its claws straight into Briar rather than swiping like all the previous times.
But Briar was faster.
As the attack came, she leapt above the claws and kneed the beast in the jaw with as much force as she could.
CRUNCH
The beast's head snapped up and its bones cracked.
It stumbled back and fell to the ground.
It did not move.
Briar turned around to the shocked group and smiled, "Lets go?"
The elevator door opened at that moment, and out walked Sydell, Daisy and Rell.
"We are late!" Daisy whined as they walked up to the beast.
"Annie is with Mel?" Briar asked immediately. Despite being here, she needed to make sure that Mel was safe, her father appointed her as the group's leader and she was going to be responsible.
Rell nodded.
Sydell crouched near the beast, "It is healing. Slowly.... but it is."
Daisy looked at Sevika and Jinx, "That one got Ambessa. Mel and Annie are watching over her right now. Got a lot of the Jinxers that were leaving above also."
"It killed them?" Jinx asked as she looked at the monster in hate.
"Killed them dead." Daisy answered, "Enforcers didn't stand a chance. Jinxers without any weapons? They got destroyed."
"Lets leave this place first." Sevika said as she began walking to the elevator.
Daani slipped away from the group and moved to the only occupied cell, "You knew this was coming."
The man looked up, without a change in expression, he answered, "And you.... children.... somehow beat it."
Daani nodded.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Why should I tell you?" The man replied, "Use your magic to figure it out."
Daani could see the hatred for magic in the man. He sighed, "Well we just beat that. You don't stand a chance."
"I do not care for my life boy." The man replied.
Daani smiled, "You should." He walked away from the cell, "Once our father hears of this.... he will make sure you... and your creature.... don't exist anymore."
The man slumped back into his cell, "That elusive father of theirs." He muttered.
As the group walked toward the elevators, the beast's eyes shot open, looking at Isha who kept peeking back at it, it raised its clawed hand and reached for her. Isha clutched Jinx harder.
"Its awake." Rell noticed the interaction.
"Pooowwwwdeeerrrr....."
Jinx stopped walking. Isha stumbled into her.
"Powder?" Briar asked as she turned around. "What an odd thing to say."
"I think you should be wondering how it speaks, rather than what it is actually saying."
Jinx spun around and walked to the beast. And for the first time in the whole ordeal, she focused on the beast's face.
Her hands shook as a face overlapped that of the beast's.
"V....Vander?" She asked.
"Poooowwwwderrrrrr..." It replied.
Jinx looked at Sevika, shaken and shocked, "Its Vander. Sevika... Its Vander."
"Her father?" Briar asked.
Sydell nodded, "It seems so."
Daani looked at the cell in the back, "How much of him is in there?"
"Rell, chain it to one of the cell doors and we can use the other metal slab to lift it out of here." Sydell said.
Jinx looked at them, "We can fix him." She said with surety.
Rell raised an eyebrow but did as she was asked to.
Metal bars bent out of shape around them and formed a makeshift platform under the beast, a few bars from nearby cells flew out and tied the beast to the platform, its arms and legs restrained.
"That should be enough." She said as she began walking out.
As they left, Jinx refused to look away from the beast.
Her father.
