"You may leave," she said indifferently to the guards, who nodded in acknowledgement and departed.
In the living room, only Maya and Lucifer remained.
"Come here, good boy," Maya spoke softly as Panther looked at her and walked towards her. He licked her hands and gazed at her with his bright blue eyes.
Lucifer was injured, but he didn't feel much pain. As a male, he was accustomed to such wounds. The only thing he couldn't bear was hunger, but now he was already full. So when the beautiful female called him, he happily went towards her and licked her hands.
'It would be good if she mated with me so we could have a litter of cubs' he thought, and started daydreaming again.
Maya looked at Panther, who stopped licking her and sat in a daze.
He was so adorable. She couldn't leave this panther alone. So she decided to take Panther to her room. Although she didn't let him sleep on her bed, he could sleep somewhere or on the sofa.
Seeing Maya walk towards the stairs, he followed her with a wagging tail, his tongue sticking out.
He was so excited.
Is this female interested in him?
He jumped on the stairs behind her, forgetting his injury.
"Be careful," Maya said, and Lucifer became even happier. No female liked to take care of males, but this female cared about him a lot.
Maya took Panther into her room. The bright blue eyes looked around curiously. Panther tapped his paws on the carpet, wondering how such a place could exist.
"Good boy, it's midnight. Go and sleep on the sofa," she rubbed his head, but he didn't move. How could any animal understand language?
So she walked towards the sofa and patted it. Seeing her sitting there, Panther jumped on the sofa.
"Okay, sleep well here," Maya spoke and rubbed his head. Lucifer obediently lay on the sofa. Maya's eyes flashed with satisfaction, and she turned off the light and walked towards the bed to sleep.
But Lucifer's bright blue eyes were still awake.
'Sleep well, female. I will guard you here,' he thought, deciding to stay on high alert.
Such a beautiful female. Who knows if someone comes with bad intentions?
