After a moment, he finally shook his head. "No. I'll give the humans in this world one last gift before that"
"Last gift?" Thalia echoed, tilting her head. "... Aren't you being too kind to them? They're humans, yes, but they're not from your world, Fik. Is there any reason besides the fact you were once human?"
Taufik smiled faintly. "Humans are humans, Thalia, no matter which world they come from or who created them. To me, they're all the same, all equal. Some are cruel, yes, but others are kind. That's the beauty of humanity, its imperfection. It's what makes them human"
