Callie Matthews showed a mocking smile on her face, but this mockery was aimed at herself.
"Then I subconsciously trusted Aden Matthews, thinking that the people he brought wouldn't pose any threat. Plus, you looked like you were ready to be slaughtered. You really are daring, sneaking in here. Weren't you afraid of being exposed and getting killed?"
Carson Flores smiled slightly, "It was indeed somewhat risky, but I thought it was more prudent this way. As it turns out, I was right. If I had charged in directly, we would definitely have been stopped. Not only would we have failed to capture you, but we might have gotten trapped ourselves. Although we could have captured some other prisoners, killing us seems to be more profitable for them."
Callie Matthews sneered, "So, are you saying everything you told me before was all lies?"
Carson Flores shook his head, "Not at all, everything I said was true, except my identity was fake. I'm not a disciple of the Flowing Water Sect..."
