Instead of answering, Zhang Bin asked warily, "And who might you be? You're not a spy, are you?"
He figured that this woman, being so secretive and covered up so thoroughly, was almost certainly a spy, or perhaps even a fugitive on the run.
The woman was momentarily stunned before she burst into a coquettish laugh, her body trembling like a flower in the wind. After laughing for a long moment, she plopped down on the sofa and propped her long, enticing legs on the coffee table. She looked at Zhang Bin and an embarrassed Su Man with a scrutinizing gaze and said seriously, "Both of you, give it to me straight. What exactly is your relationship? And what were you just doing?"
"Cousin, will you ever stop?" Su Man said exasperatedly. "He's a doctor, and he was just giving me a physical examination. It's definitely not what you're thinking."
"A doctor? An examination? Who are you trying to fool?" the woman said, her face full of doubt.
