Yasaka looks at me, shocked. Yeah, I don't blame her. Campione world is a world full of overpowered beings that can affect fate, time, or any concepts you can think of. It is a miracle that the universe does not break in half with how many heretic gods descend from heaven.
"Campione. They are the bait and the blocker of heretic gods. They bait any Heretic Gods who descend from heaven and the one holding them back. With them in the world, Heretic Gods will aim at them instead of attacking the civilians at large. It is not working 100%, but when the Heretic Gods notice Campione in the area, they will take a U-turn and attack them instead of the innocents."
"How many Heretic Gods does this Voban have killed?"
"The template that I received? Seven of them. I don't know if he will receive more authority in the future. There is a high chance of it happening."
"That is a lot of Gods. How about the nature of Campione? Will you receive authority when you kill Gods back in our world?"
"No. I don't think so. It only works against Heretic Gods. Maybe there will be an upgrade when I complete the template. For now, it is not working against regular Gods."
"That is a shame. There are a few Gods you can hunt, and no one will bat an eye."

"Lesser Gods from the American Continent are known for their love for human hunting. Because the higher-ranking Gods of that continent are gone, the lesser gods that were born from evil spirits are ruling most of the area in that continent. Have you heard about how high the homicide rate is in the American Continent? Well, they are high, but it would not be that high if not for those evil spirits."
"So, if I kill them, no one will act against me?"
"Nope. The catholic will be happy if you do that, in fact. They try to hunt them down, but because of the lack of heavy support from Heaven, they cannot hunt down the stronger spirits and are only able to kill the weaker ones."
"A good place for others to train."
I mutter and shake my head. I look at her and continue.
"Right. The other reason why I invite you here is to ask if your people want to train here. I prefer people you trust to know this place because there are too many things in this world that can change the status quo."
"Yeah. Those Devil Fruits are life-changers. Even Haki is already enough to change the status quo. Aura, from what you call the RWBY universe, is not that game-changing. There are a lot of techniques that can do the same without letting our soul be that bright."
Yeah. Aura from RWBY is great for beginners. For someone who reaches a certain level, it becomes rather redundant. Making your soul flare like that makes you look like a beacon to sensors or scrying spells.
Only after learning how to use Senjutsu was I able to hide my soul and let myself hide from Sensor Master. Even then, it is not a 100% guarantee because of how bright my soul is.
Haki, on the other hand? It acts like Senjutsu or Touki. It does not flare up like Aura unless you use it in a fight. Not only that, but it serves as a defensive ability. Haki can be used as an enchantment, a defense, and an offense.
While Semblance is great, it is too random. You can receive something that can control concepts such as luck, and the other you can shine out of your ass. I am not lying on the last one. There is one person who has Semblance that allows him to release concentrated beams of light from his ass. It is powerful, but too embarrassing to use in non-emergency situations.
"That is fair. I will tell the others to train here. However, there wouldn't be many people, because I need them back home to secure my palace. With us being married, there will be a lot of people trying to curry favor that allows them to connect with you."
"I see. Well, that is to be expected."
While we accept people coming and leaving our territory, we do not allow most factions to talk with me directly. So far, only the Greek, the Abrahamic (Angels, Church, and Devils), and the Youkai have talked to me directly. The others need to take the official approach, sending a letter or a diplomat for an open discussion.
And that usually takes a week or two. However, approaching an allied faction will reduce that time to days or even hours.
The Greek faction is there because they are the first to approach us, and we decided to continue our relationship. We are not allies, but we have a good relationship and happily trade with each other.
We don't have that good of relations with the Abrahamic faction, but the church is working hard to regain the trust of the people of Romania. So far, it is working. The last I heard, they hunt a lot of Evil Spirits in the region where I allow them to stay. As for the Devils, they have yet to do anything to increase or decrease relations. So far.
Only the Youkai, through Yasaka, have an official alliance with us. If other factions want to talk to me, they can go through Yasaka to reach me.
"Can we create a permanent resident here? There are a few Youkai races that are more than willing to sell their souls to stay in a place like this. The aquatic youkai races are slowly dying because of the pollution and the thinning of the natural energy of the ocean."
"How is that possible? Is it because of ships and such?"
"Yup. All carrier ships dumping their trash into the ocean disrupt the ocean's natural energy, and now aquatic youkai need to go to the shallows to survive. There are only two places in Japan where they can stay, and they are shrinking. With this, they can survive and increase their number."
Ah, they are the same as the situation in the Caribbean, huh? However, instead of losing their ancestral job as shamans, those Youkai are losing their homes and lives as those homes shrink even further.
"Sure. I don't mind it. As long as they follow the rules I've put in this place, I don't mind them staying here."
"That is fair. I will tell them about that and make sure they do not do anything stupid. They are law-abiding people, but there are a few people who need a stern hand to remind them about it."
"Yeah. I know that kind of person. There are a lot of people who think they can do anything they want just because they are strong enough to beat some of the goons. I will make sure they cannot do that the second time."
I stand up and look at her with a grin.
"While we are here, why don't I show you around the sea? I want you to see my beautiful girl. She is still parked in the port."
"Of course! I always want to sail through the ocean."
