Joe-"They say that centuries ago before the guild was founded, powerful monsters would migrate from the archipelago to the main northern and southern continents. They would wreak havoc and kill droves of people, but now that powerful fighters go to hunt them there hasn't been another mass monster migration since"
Julius-"So the training both makes the adventurers stronger and keeps the monster population down"
Adam-"Yep, Atlas himself supposedly spends a lot of time there"
Julius-"Considering how strong the S ranks are that makes me wonder how tough the monsters are"
Adam-"Like you said it's a big group of islands. The say the strongest monsters are in the center island with them being weaker the further out you go. But even the weakest monsters on the outer islands are still B rank monsters at a minimum"
Julius-"You mean the weakest monsters on the weakest islands are at least as strong as the lightning wyvern we killed a while ago"
Elise-"Yeah, you can see why A rank adventurers are the ones permitted to go there. I've always wanted to go there"
Adam-"We're definitely not strong enough to survive there yet. And since the island is surrounded by intense storms it's not easy to enter or leave"
Julius(in his head)-"The Kaiju Archipelago huh?"
Voice-"It appears to be an ideal place to become stronger very quickly"
Julius(in his head)-"The name is weird though"
Voice-"The name 'Kaiju Archipelago translates to 'giant monster multiple islands' which seems accurate based on the description"
Julius(in his head)-"Yeah but it uses the word 'kaiju' which is Japanese. And it's the only Japanese word I've heard here. Are there other people who speak Japanese and they are the one's who named it? And if so why use a non Japanese word like 'archipelago' in the name?"
Voice-"The people here aren't speaking English. I'm just automatically translating their language into English so you can understand them"

Voice-"Did you think the people of this world just happened to speak the exact same language as your country of origin which is in another universe? Especially when your world has roughly 7,100 languages with roughly 23 of them being spoken by over half of your world's population"

Voice-"There used to be far more but this is a hostile world with many monsters so small communities with their own languages were wiped out"

Voice-"It's likely why the adventurers guild has so much influence. Thousands of small communities signing up for their protection of monsters"
Julius(in his head)-"But back on topic, why didn't you translate the word kaiju to English?"
Voice-"You already knew the word kaiju, and that was its original name was"
Julius(in his head)-"So the name Kaiju Archipelago was what they said not something else?"

Marigold-"No, the existence of the archipelago was known long before the founding of the guild"
Julius-"The word kaiju is from a language called Japanese and the word archipelago is from English, well that one originated from Greek and Italian but its meaning in this context is from English"
Elise-"Um, neat"
Joe-"I haven't heard of those languages before"
Julius-"All of those languages are from my world, maybe the person who discovered the Kaiju Archipelago came from my world"
Adam-"Oh yeah, I forgot you said you're an alien"

Voice-"That is highly improbable there are no other recorded instances of someone being reincarnated from another world to here. If someone was important enough to have discovered one of the four continents of this world, they would surely be remembered"
Julius(in his head)-"How do you know there's no records of it"

Voice-"That is true. However, I still consider the possibility of other humans reincarnating from your world to this one as being highly improbable"
Julius(in his head)-"Well, I still think it's worth looking into. If I go to the Kaiju Archipelago, then maybe I could find some clues to whoever named it"
Marigold-"Well then, do you guys agree that we should-"
Adam-"Now hold on, the Kaiju Archipelago is For A and S rank adventurers only"
Joe-"Yeah, it's out of our league. I doubt we would even be allowed to go there"
Adam-"Julius is the only one who might be lower S rank level"
Julius-"Damion could be too, now that he is a demi-lich"
Elise-"Wait now that he's... Damion is a demi-lich?"

Elise-"Well if that's true then Damion must be a lot stronger now. If both Julius and Damion are lower A rank level then maybe we can get to go to the Kaiju Archipelago. Once I kill numerous monsters there, I'll be a lower, no, I'll be an upper A rank level. Maybe even S rank level"
Joe-"You're not S rank material Elise"

Adam-"It's too dangerous, we need to get stronger first before we could head to the Archipelago"
Elise-"Now's the time to do it, there are way more adventurers there than there usually is"
Julius-"Why is that?"
Joe-"Huge training session. It's less than a century now until the demon lord will appear again. So now the guild is making sure everyone is in peak performance for his invasion"
Adam-"Seems crazy to prepare over a century ahead of time"
Marigold-"You know what would have happened to our world if it wasn't for Atlas, he just wants us to he prepared"
