His blade glowed for a second and that faint glow disappeared. He looked towards it, but before he could see it, it had disappeared. Facing his blade, he closed his eyes. His blood dropped into the soil, making it reddish in color.
He opened his eyes for the final time and saw it glow for a few seconds. He looked towards that glow again and again, and after minutes, he finally found the reason.
A drop of his blood moved across the corner of his finger, and when it wasn't able to handle any more, it snapped and fell onto the blade. The blade fed on his blood, turned it into fuel, and illuminated in a bright color.
"I will die, but not by creatures like you," he muttered and tried to stand on his feet. The beasts, which had started to head back, stopped and turned to see him. Their eyes were reflecting their anticipation. He tried to stand but fell several times, but the beasts patiently waited for him.
He cut his palm and blood rushed out from there. "If you feed on blood, take as much as you... you need. Just give me power," he muttered while trying to maintain his balance.
His blood was soaked up by his blade, and then his blade again started to glow with energy, but his body lacked energy. "If you need more blood then..." He deliberately paused.
He swung his blade between his fingers and then raised it a few meters, inverting it. He held it there for a second. A memory flashed in front of his eyes, and this time he let the face appear; an old man with loose skin and small eyes.
"Carciyan uhhhh ughhhhh!!" the man coughed and then moved his hand onto young Carciyan's head. After moving his hand gently over his grandson's head, he started again.
"Carciyan, you remember the story...." Then another memory flashed; an old man said, gently moving his hand over young Carciyan's head, "Carciyan, please don't choose anger; please, no matter what, don't choose fury." And the next thing he remembered was his grandpapa on his bed, covered with a plain white cloth.
Returning to his senses, he looked towards his blade once and then towards the area where his friend lay. His shaking hands stabilized.
"I am sorry, Grandpa. Let me choose Fury!!" He started crying while his blade pushed inside his stomach. Blood spilled onto the ground, but he didn't stop; his blade moved inside his body.
Blood started to flow across the blade and drop onto the ground. After a few seconds, the blood disappeared, and his blade turned crimson for a few seconds, and then it burst with pitch-black energy.
His energy started to be wrapped in that pitch-black energy, as did his body. He saw the beasts looking towards him in confusion and joy as their tongues continued to release saliva onto the ground.
The energy moved towards his eyes, covering them completely, and then everything turned silent for a few seconds.
"Graaahhh!!" the beasts roared in joy and rushed at him. His body moved, but nothing happened. The beasts stopped in their places; the following beasts pushed them forward, but their bodies fell in slices.
Carciyan opened his eyes. He held his blade tightly and then moved his mouth. "Face the Fury of Yava Viskans: Furious Swift Slashes."
He moved his blade; a condensed energy slash moved at a very high speed towards the beasts. The beasts' bodies started to be cut into pieces. The area was filled with blood and screams, but he didn't stop.
Standing in his place, he launched several hundred slashes in front of him. "Graah!" One of the beasts closed in and tried to attack him. He quickly moved and dodged it in time and looked towards its head. The next second, the beast's head was falling onto the ground.
He held that beast's head and then threw it with all his strength. The head flew a few meters high and then exploded in an area filled with beasts. Such a small explosion was only able to scratch the beasts close to the explosion, and the rest were unharmed.
He didn't pay any attention to the same and continued slaughtering beasts.During this time, the beasts had already closed the gap. They tried to bite him, but he was quick on his legs and was able to save himself for a while; but then, one of the beasts pushed its head further and clenched its teeth onto his neck.
The beast's eyes were glowing with satisfaction as blood was rolling across its teeth; it pushed its teeth deep into Carciyan's neck. Carciyan's eyes were reflecting black energy and his energy's darkness reached close to black; both his eyes and energy had a few bluish energy sparks which were about to disappear at any moment.
Carciyan didn't show any sign of pain; his instinct moved his hands to kill that beast, but he was late for the same. The beast narrowed its eyes in joy and then pulled his flesh apart. Blood flooded the area as several veins and arteries snapped out of his neck. "Aahhh," in pain, Carciyan fell to the ground, trying to cover his wound.
In pain, his eyes turned completely black and his energy, too, turned black. Flickering strains of bluish energy were no longer present there.
Carciyan tried to stand on his legs, but the beasts didn't give him any chance. "GRRRRHH," a beast roared and tried to bite him. Some of the beasts were licking and enjoying his blood spilled on the ground.
Carciyan's energy started to shake, followed by the air and ground around him. "Oookaay, weel... well done," he started coughing blood.
He slowly tried to stand but slipped; several beasts rushed towards him. He looked into the eyes of those beasts; their eyes met. The entire bodies of those who saw his eyes were covered in fear.
His eyes completely turned black with moving, chaotic, pattern-like things. Some of the beasts ignored it and rushed forward.
"DIEEE!!" His energy materialized again, but this time something was different. A very powerful shockwave rushed out of his throat.
The shockwave moved in all directions, crushing everything in its range. Beasts close to him were crushed; their upper bodies exploded, leaving only their limbs behind, signifying they were once there.
The blood of the deceased beasts spread, turning the soil black. Those beasts who were not exploded were crushed; some of the beasts' bodies were far enough away so their bodies didn't have serious injuries.
The beasts this time didn't hesitate; they rushed towards him without any delay. Carciyan was holding his breath and then stood his ground. His eyes saw never-ending herds of beasts rushing towards him.
Their eyes were filled with joy and greed, mouths watering at the sight of their food in front of their eyes.
Carciyan did not utter a word, just held onto his blade more firmly.A blackish substance in his blade was dancing without any rare bluish sparks in it.
He swung his blade, splitting several beasts into two. Neither he nor those beasts stopped; both rushed towards each other, closing the gap.
His face was turning pale with each second, but he wasn't affected by it.
He launched multiple slashes, each deadlier than the one before. Those slashes killed multiple beasts and then exploded, further damaging the beasts.
This wasn't enough; within a few minutes, the beasts started to overpower him. A large number of them were biting him. His body was drenched in blood. He roared, but his voice wasn't there.
The area exploded with a heavy roaring sound, "Grrrrhhhh!!" The beasts attacking him froze in their place. He didn't care; his energy rose once again. Those beasts whose teeth were still inside his flesh started to inflate; within a few seconds, they exploded.
Beast blood rained all over him; as the blood dropped, his energy also started to fall. His breath started to break; his eyes widened. He tried to move his hand towards his neck, but his body was giving up.
His white face started to turn violet, followed by a crack-like structure; his eyes were unharmed, but his vision was slowly blurring. As his vision was fading, he saw a movement, but it was too late; he had already done what he could.
