If they had held a wedding back then, with their work being so hectic, she would have been exhausted.
Mu Jingxi lowered his head and kissed the corner of her lips, "I'll go downstairs first. Call me if you need anything, okay?"
Feeling tired, Qiao An nodded and prepared to rest a bit.
Just as she stepped out of the bedroom, Lin Shuangshuang approached with an antique-looking wooden box in her hands.
"Jingxi," Lin Shuangshuang said with a smile, "Is Qiao An inside?"
"Sister-in-law, do you need something from Qiaoqiao?" Mu Jingxi stopped walking, but didn't move aside.
"I have some things to explain to her about the wedding. This jewelry, my mother asked me to bring it over."
Mu Jingxi's lips pressed into a thin line. Lin Shuangshuang seemed to notice his hesitation, "Are you worried I'll eat her up? Today's your wedding day. I won't do anything to her, rest assured."
What she said made sense.
