Jin Ningxin glared, and the two maids immediately shrank back in fear, "We wouldn't dare. I'll go buy it right away."
The two maids split up, one stayed at the ward door, and the other went to buy Mingji's soup dumplings.
Shortly after, the maid guarding the door heard Jin Ningxin's voice.
"Come in."
She immediately pushed the door open, "Miss, what's wrong?"
"Help me to the restroom."
The doctor said her body was weak, so the maid didn't doubt her words. Even ordinarily, she had many bizarre instructions. Helping her to the restroom was a minor task compared to other odd requests.
The maid carefully supported her into the restroom.
"Miss, I'll wait outside for you."
"Hmm."
Jin Ningxin surveyed the restroom and saw a vase on the sink.
The maid stood guard outside the restroom door, heard the door open, just turned around, felt a pain in the back of her neck, and collapsed.
Jin Ningxin caught her, laying her down on the floor.
