At first, Ye Guao didn't say anything, and Xing Tian didn't push further. The two seemed to be in a 'silent standoff', betting on who would speak first.
Ultimately, it was Ye Guao who broke the silence, though he still had his back turned to Xing Tian.
"Can't you tell that Zhu Rong is trying to provoke? After all, I just saved you, didn't I? As soon as the crisis was resolved, you started questioning me, Xing Tian, how do you feel about your actions?"
Regardless, Ye Guao didn't directly answer Xing Tian's questions, merely sidestepping the topic with a clever diversion.
As soon as Ye Guao finished speaking, Xing Tian let out a cold laugh.
With a clearly appraising look, Xing Tian spoke in a haunting tone, "You're not Ye Guao, or rather there's a fundamental difference between you and him. Why you're appearing before me in his guise, I don't yet know. But I'm not so incompetent that I can't see a hint of the clues in you."
