An Yiqing remained motionless, staring at the man, slowly walking towards him step by step.
As the distance between the two grew closer, An Yiqing caught a scent that seemed vaguely familiar.
Where had she seen this person before? Who exactly was he?
An Yiqing walked up to the man, just about to move forward, when she was stopped by a short man wearing sunglasses.
"Miss, he is my subordinate, do you have some business?" The short man's voice was deep, and An Yiqing observed him closely, realizing he wasn't young. Judging by the gray hair hidden under his baseball cap, he was at least over fifty.
An Yiqing suddenly smiled gently, looking harmlessly at the short man: "I just felt this gentleman looked very familiar, as if I've seen him somewhere."
"Impossible." The short man denied without a second thought, "This attendant of mine is mute, can't speak, and has been by my side for twenty years, never leaving. Miss, you must have mistaken him for someone else."
