"Um... are you asleep?" Xu Hua's voice came from outside, sounding a bit awkward.
An Yiqing was taken aback, placed the towel she was using to dry her hair on the table, and walked to the door to open it. She looked at Xu Hua, then at the plate of pastries he was holding, raising her eyebrows.
"Ahem, you seem to really like those puff pastries, so I made some more. If you don't mind, give them a try." Xu Hua turned his head and handed over the plate.
An Yiqing's eyes showed surprise as she looked down at the small puff pastries and some little cakes on the white plate and couldn't help but ask, "Did you make all these?"
"Uh... just made them for fun...," Xu Hua's face turned slightly red, his eyes darting around nervously.
With an amused look at the young man, An Yiqing smiled and took the plate, "Thank you, I really like them."
The young man's face turned even redder, "As long as you like them. It's late today, don't eat too much. I'm leaving, good night."
