Hailan slowly got up and walked step by step out of the palace, when suddenly a young boy rushed out, followed by two panting maids. The young boy bumped into Hailan, who instinctively pushed the boy: "Get lost."
The tone was full of disgust.
The boy fell to the ground, looking aggrieved and panic-stricken.
Such a beautiful face, especially those eyes, clear and transparent like glass, made one irresistibly want to scoop them out and cherish them. The panic flickering in those eyes made him look like a frightened little rabbit, evoking sympathy.
The two maids helped him up.
"What's your name?"
The boy merely stared at him innocently and fearfully, as if he hadn't heard him, with no reaction at all.
Hailan snorted coldly: "Gone mute, have you?"
Everyone in this Holy Palace is mute, how come there's another one?
Hailan scrutinized the boy's face, narrowing his eyes slightly.
