Meanwhile, James, Musubi, Akitsu, Jasmine, Kuno, and Haruka were sprinting across the bridge. The wind whipped past them.
Musubi led the charge. Her powerful strides ate up the pavement. Her large breasts moved up and down as she ran forward. "We're almost there!" she called back. "Just a little more, Kuno," she added.
Behind her, Kuno ran with all her strength. Her breath came in short gasps, but she didn't stop. "I can do this," she panted. "If I make it past that checkpoint. I'll finally be free," she added.
Akitsu sprinted silently as she was just behind the others.
"Almost there," Jasmine said as she looked over her shoulder. "Just a few more meters," she added.
Haruka, running beside James. "Are you sure everyone's okay? The others," he asked.
James nodded, "They're fine. My girls are tough," he responded.
Suddenly, a voice rang out from the far end of the bridge. "Stop right there," she said.
The group skidded to a halt. They looked to see a woman wearing a black kimono-like shirt with one sleeve missing. She had pink hair in a side ponytail with two daisy clips, as well as pink eyes. Her body was athletic and toned.
"Just what do you think you're doing?" another figure asked. She was a slender female who had bandages all around her body. She wore a tattered black kimono, which is held tight to her body . She had two small black belts around her stomach. She wore a studded black choker, and black thigh-high boots. Her hands and arms are covered from fingertip to elbow by a pair of wickedly-sharp barbed metal gauntlets,She has spiky silver hair.
"Who are you?" Jasmine asked as she looked at the two figures.
"Disciplinary Unit Number 104, Haihane," Haihane said as she moved her metal gauntlets up.
"From the same department, Number 105 Benitsubasa," Benitsubasa added as she clenched her fist.
Akitsu moved forward and got between James and the two Sekirei.
"The Disciplinary Unit," Haruka said as he hugged Kuno.
"Number 88 Musubi," Musubi said as she clenched her fist.
"Number 7 Akitsu," Akitsu remarked.
"I won't lose to anyone younger than me," Musubi said with a smile on her face. "I will have you let us cross," she added.
Haihane laughed. "This is funny," she said. "You were scrapped never to be winged but you are winged now," she added.
"My Ashikabi has winged me," Akistu said. "I will do anything for him," she added as her eyes narrowed.
"Haihane, you can fight the other one, she is mine," Benitsubasa said as she looked at Musubi.
"Sure," Haihane responded as she jumped in the air. She swung her fist downwards and her gauntlet with spikes came down. Akistu saw this and jumped back. She dodged the attack. Haihane crashed into the ground which created a shockwave. "Come here," she said as she leapt forward.
Benitsubasa kicked off the ground first, darting in with blinding speed. Musubi dashed forward to meet her head-on. Their forearms crashed together with a crack that echoed across the bridge. Musubi smiled at her.
Benitsubasa twisted her hips and sent a sharp roundhouse kick toward Musubi's ribs.
Musubi caught it on her elbow. The impact pushed her a step sideways. However Musubi countered instantly with a fist shot forward into her stomach.
Benitsubasa got hit in the stomach. She bent forward slightly from the attack. However she instantly recovered and tried to punch Musub. However Musubi parried it off to the side and spun on the spot. Msubi brought her heel around in a sweeping kick.
Benitsubasa ducked under it and lunged inside Musubi's guard. Musubi braced just in time. Their fists collided and their knuckles smashed together.
Benitsubasa grinned fiercely. They both jumped back. "A close range, physical type. The same as me, just as Black said," Benitsubasa said. "You know Number 88, it seems like Black has her eye on you," she added.
"Black?" Musubi questioned as she pointed to herself.
"Karasuba! You don't know?" From like, the flow of the air?" Benitsubasa said.
"Air flow?" Musubi questioned.
"Are you an idiot?" Benitsubasa asked.
"You should not call people idiots," Musubi responded as she clenched her fist.
Benitsubasa jumped forward and closed the distance. She planted her foot and coiled her body, and launched a rapid left hook followed by a right cross.
Musubi blocked the right cross and jumped over Benitsubasa. She spun around and kicked Benitsubasa back. Benitsubasa felt the kick and went forward however she countered with her own kick immediately into Musubi`s stomach.
Musubi got hit in the stomach. She spat her spit out however she grabbed her foot and twisted it and slammed her down in the ground.
Benitsubasa hit the ground hard. Dust kicked in the air. Benitsubasa spat her own spit out. She quickly twisted her leg and spun her body. She was able to escape from Musubi. Benitsubasa got to her own feet and looked at each other. "You will be going down," Benitsubasa said.
"I won't," Musubi responded.
Their eyes locked. Then, they both moved at once.
Benitsubasa burst upward with a powerful leap, her hair whipping behind her. Musubi lunged forward as her feet dug into the ground before she sprang upward as well.
They met in mid-air. They both drew their fists back and twisted their bodies for maximum force. Time seemed to slow as their trajectories aligned perfectly. Their fists collided with a thunderous impact mid-air. An explosive shockwave rippled outward as they clashed.
They air blasted James, Kuno and Haruka backwards. "What strength," Haruka remarked.
Musubi and Benitsubasa landed on the ground. Musubi smiled.
"You are still smiling," Benitsubasa said. "You don't know what the consequences are for facing the Disciplinary Squad," she added. "It is not a shut down, it is death," she shouted.
"Extreme Earthquake," Benitsubasa hissed as her fist ignited with a deep violet glow. The air around her warped and shuddered as raw power gathered in her arm. She drew back. Her muscles coiled, and slammed her fist into the ground.
The entire platform bucked violently. Cracks spider-webbed outward, exploding in all directions. A roaring shockwave tore through the floor and surged toward Musubi.
Musubi reacted instantly and leapt high. She flipped over the blast as it pulverized the spot she had just occupied.
From a distance, James watched the battle unfold. He thought in the original this is where everything went wrong. The MC rushed in and ruined it. Musubi was caught between a rock and hard place resulting in her losing. He looked at the Ultimatrix.
Benitsubasa launched herself forward, closing the distance in a blur. She snapped a fast kick toward Musubi's head.
Musubi bent her back and let Benitsubasa kick pass overhead.
Benitsubasa didn't hesitate. She stepped in and drove a punch toward Musubi's stomach. Musubi twisted and absorbed part of the blow on her forearm. Benitsubasa then moved her hand and grabbed Musubi`s face.
With a vicious grin, Benitsubasa rammed Musubi backward and slammed her against a steel support beam. The metal groaned from the impact. Benitsubasa gripped Musubi`s face harder and shoved it deeper. She let out a manic laugh.
Musubi's hands darted upward. In a blink, she seized Benitsubasa's arm, braced her foot, and twisted mid-air. Her thigh hooked around Benitsubasa's face as she used her momentum to whip Benitsubasa backward in a powerful throw.
Benitsubasa's eyes widened as she was thrown back. She crashed face-first into another steel beam. She spat blood as she then hit the floor hard. She tumbled across the bridge before skidding to a stop.
A thin line of red trickled from her lip as she pushed herself up. She panted. She dragged the back of her hand across her mouth as she smeared the blood away. Benitsubasa looked at her. She was angry. "I am just getting started," she said.
Musubi smiled. "So am I," Musubi said.
