Everyone saw the shadow beginning to regenerate and their confident looks became stunned, they had heard reports of the shadows' regeneration, but seeing it in person was a great shock to everyone there.
"This thing is coming back after being defeated..." The old man said.
"He doesn't seem to be doing anything..." The vampire observed Severus standing still, still chained holding the cup.
"Avada Kedavra!" The gnome who waited until the shadow finally regenerated, to cast the death curse on it, hitting it squarely.
It exploded into smoke once again, but everyone began to see that it was starting to regenerate again.
"He is coming back!" Said the girl while pointing at Severus. "He will keep regenerating the whole time as long as he is not defeated!" She said.
"Then we must take care of him..." Said the fat man pointing his shotgun at Severus.
"How disappointing... You have already given up on a single shadow?" Severus mocked, surely they were having difficulty dealing with a shadow of Voldemort for being a Dark Lord known for his power.
Severus only looked at his system mana points and it was too low a number, they would fight for days and the system would not reset while Voldemort kept regenerating, so it was obvious they would go after the summoner.
"You are always so relaxed, I suppose we should be a little offended by your tranquility there, imprisoned." The old man stroked his long white beard.
"Well, I guess I don't need to stay trapped in these things anymore, right?" Severus gave them a smile.
[System! Monarch Immunity: Your immunity is increased by 100% against diseases, poisons, ailments and mental attacks, nullifying any threat to your internal system.]
[All restrictions are being lifted!]
He could feel it, the paralyzing effect ended there, whether from the curse or the glyphs. He could teleport himself, but the chain as a physical object still remained due to being physical.
Severus slowly turned his body toward them, while all 7 were surprised at that, seeing him move to the point of forgetting the shadow regenerating again.
"He is moving..." Said the boy with much fear in his voice.
"Stay alert!" The one they called princess said attentively.
"Tsk." Severus looked calmly at them before blowing up the chains around his body with no difficulty, with the links scattering everywhere with the sound of metal.
He made the cup disappear the next moment, and the sound of shots arose with the beautiful spells flying in his direction after the big guy shot at him with his shotgun.
Severus disappeared before he could be hit, while he appeared on top of the table the next moment.
"He can even teleport!" Exclaimed the vampire.
"This is bad... This guy, even after I saw him taking the cup, even after I saw him being captured by us for a moment... He could have freed himself the entire time?" The gnome had foreseen him being captured by his traps, that is why he believed the situation was under control for them, what he did not expect was that this wanted man could escape the trap easily as if he were dealing with children.
After his shadow kept attacking them the whole time, doubt began to gnaw at everyone's mind there, imagining that Severus had just been playing with them the entire time and only allowed himself to be captured just to watch them fighting one of his soldiers.
"Voldemort." Severus said as soon as the shadow fully regenerated while everyone turned their gaze, expecting an attack from the dark creature as well, but the shadow understood what Severus meant by that and it threw itself to the ground while sliding directly into the shadow coming from Severus' feet.
It entered there with everyone watching. "He hides his shadows there... but I'm only seeing one." The gnome commented in a thoughtful tone, Severus should have more, he could summon them somehow.
"So you see my shadows at my feet?" Severus did not fail to ask with an amused tone to the gnome. "Then I did the right thing in removing them all before coming to this floor..." He commented calmly.
Severus released all his shadows while passing through the castle's shadows as he climbed the floors, precisely to prepare them in case he needed them, not knowing very well what he would face there.
He could feel all the shadows in the castle, ready to obey any order he gave them remotely. But he did not bother calling them into that room, all that mattered now was dealing with the group alone.
"Let's see what you are capable of now, I will be the one to fight you." He declared while lightning began to appear in Severus' hands and then, Baran's two daggers appeared with thunder.
All seven looked at him surprised as he spun the daggers, taking a fighting stance on top of the large table pointing at them.
"Daggers... He plans to use daggers against us?" The fat man could not help but make a face, believing the large knives would be nothing they could not handle.
Even the others stared at that, wondering why Severus would not use the wand as he did with the first Dark Lord.
"I am a powerful wizard, there is no doubt about that. However, this is not the only way I can fight... You could say that I am quite flexible." He mocked while everyone began to prepare.
No one wanted to underestimate this guy.
"Let's hunt." Severus said and the next moment he disappeared.
Everyone immediately went on alert.
"On the ceiling!" Shouted the boy pointing upwards, while they saw Severus running upside down toward them.
"Quick!" They shouted as flames began to be cast from several of the spellcasters along with the shotgun blasts from the fat man.
Severus began running between the explosions coming at him, while dodging them all easily, those attacking him were the Princess, the old man, the two children and the fat man shooting with the weapon.
He reached them and disappeared once again with his super-speed.
Before anyone could react, Severus appeared in front of the fat man and drove his knee into the man's face while still in the air.
Everyone immediately moved away around him to prepare to attack, at the same time that Severus already noticed someone approaching him from behind.
He spun his body and made one of the daggers disappear while grabbing the vampire's hand before she could strike him.
"What?!" She screamed, stunned as she saw his speed, the very thing she took so much pride in when dealing with enemies, being caught so easily there.
"I'm used to training with a half-vampire." Severus said before pulling her and starting to spin his body, carrying her before she could react, and throwing her directly into the wall near them, as her body exploded against the stones.
"This is bad! Lady Phiness and Darius have already fallen?!" The princess exclaimed, seeing her personal guard fall with his face full of blood, as he fainted at the same time she could see that the vampire had also passed out.
She quickly pointed her wand at Severus and spoke in the same language of the ancient spell.
Severus turned back and saw the sea serpent coil coming at him. At the same time, the two children were forming a huge fireball together, preparing to attack as well, so big that it must have been about 2 meters in diameter.
Severus raised his hand before the sea serpent reached him, he used his telekinesis and in the next moment directed the serpent to fire at the two children while the princess was shocked.
"What?!" She saw her spell simply turning with a blue aura and advancing against her allies.
The two children could only see the force of the water reaching them before it all exploded. In the next moment, an explosion shook that floor while everything was destroyed with stones falling to the outside.
When things calmed down inside, the two children were lying unconscious in a corner.
"What?!" The princess looked stunned at that, feeling guilt for having hurt her allies.
"Princess Thalindra! We must leave here immediately!" Shouted the old man.
"Archmagus Elowen, we cannot leave them behind!" Shouted the girl, shocked.
"Your safety is the priority, princess!" Said the old mage.
"Ahh" A groan came from the other side of the room, as they saw the gnome, the fifth member of the seven, being defeated as he appeared collapsed on the ground.
The princess grimaced as the older man grabbed her shoulder and attempted to apparate, or so he thought.
"What?!" He was shocked to see he could not teleport.
"You thought I wouldn't build a line of anti-apparition glyphs in the castle? My soldiers handled that easily." Severus said calmly as he turned to them, walking slowly, still holding the daggers in his hands, even though he hadn't used them at any moment.
"Hm?!" The princess was startled when her feet almost touched the exposed area Severus had opened, as stones fell outside, with the castle being about 5 floors high.
"You are cornered." Severus said in a calm tone.
"I will not let you touch any of us, much less this princess." Said the older man, known as Archmagus Elowen.
Severus said nothing more and disappeared, when Archmagus Elowen noticed, Severus raised his daggers and cut through the shield.
The mage was stunned as his magical shield, something he had been focusing on to kill, was destroyed so easily. Who in the world would have such power as this man before him?
The mage could not even react as Severus struck him with the hilt on the head and made him fall to the ground unconscious.
After seeing her guardian fall, the princess pointed the golden wand at Severus while trembling, feeling fear of him for the first time.
"Don't come closer! And don't touch any of my companions!" she said with an unfounded threat, being the only one still standing. All the others were unconscious.
"Wait... is that all you have to say to me? Just that?" Severus said, beginning to put away the daggers and leaving his hands clean.
She seemed unsure of what to do and, before she could act, Severus suddenly appeared in front of her, striking her neck. Soon she fell, unconscious on the ground.
The princess herself blinked a moment later. She seemed a little lost before remembering everything that had happened, and her eyes quickly widened, looking around and seeing all her companions lying in a corner, side by side. Some injured, others burned, and some seemed unhurt.
She also remembered her attacker, and when looking to the head of the table, she finally saw Severus standing there, sitting at the head of the table, while she was in a corner near him.
"As you can see... it is just you and me." Severus said calmly.
She quickly noticed she was without her wand. "Are you looking for this?" Severus said, showing the golden wand and placing it in front of him.
"What do you want? Do you intend to kill me? You can have a great reward if you take me Home." She said with a worried tone.
She never imagined that the squad she was part of would fall entirely to this man. They could do nothing to face him. He simply took them down one by one.
"Well, let's say I got a little interested when they called you princess. I'd like to hear about this mysterious kingdom you're part of... after all, it's not every day that we find a magical princess out there." Severus said in a calm tone.
The princess immediately began to imagine what that man might be planning.
'Damn... I should have disguised my identity. Now this man may harm my kingdom...' she murmured internally, while Severus continued.
"First of all, let me ask you: this kingdom, where you are princess... are there paintings in it?" he asked in a tone full of interest.
The princess blinked a few times, stunned by the question. Was that what he wanted? "What?" was all she murmured.
