The blade was heavier than it looked. Crimson steel, some mythical alloy that seemed to drink in color. The edges were sharp enough to cut through mana-reinforced armor. Patterns covered the surface—not decorative, functional. Heat dissipation channels for when the metal got hot from friction.
At the blade's center, a ruby gemstone sat embedded in the metal. It pulsed with internal light—deep crimson, almost black.
Riyan hefted the spear once, testing the weight. Seven kills. Eight more scattered throughout this hotel.
Then multiple presences registered simultaneously—closing in from different directions.

"Perfect," he whispered.
He moved toward the stairwell, spear ready, and waited for the first one to arrive.
