"That European-style castle up ahead is where the chief resides."
Emma pointed to a castle in the distance and said with a smile.
With an orange roof, snow-white walls, and those windows full of European flair, it looked like a painting from afar.
"You can get a little closer to have a look." Emma smiled, "Then when you leave the island, you can say you've seen where our chief lives. The previous generation of our chief also lived here."
"Is that so?" Tan Jincheng smiled, "It indeed looks very charming."
"Of course." Emma smiled proudly.
Even though the castle could be seen from a distance, there was still quite a walk to get there.
