Originally, Lian Manman's plan was to have Lian Zhizhi and Dabao stay with her, but Lian Zhizhi insisted otherwise. Lian Zhizhi had her own reasons; Wu Yugui, Lady Wu Wang, and Wu Jiaxing were guests, and it was their first time in the Prefecture City, their first time staying in the house in Pine Tree Alley. Lian Zhizhi felt that she shouldn't stay with Lian Manman by herself; it would be more convenient for the family to stay together.
This convenience, of course, wasn't for her but for the Wu family as a whole.
When Lian Zhizhi explained, Lian Manman understood immediately. Lian Zhizhi was worried that Wu Yugui, Lady Wu Wang, and Wu Jiaxing might not have a pleasant stay, even though Lian Manman and Lady Zhang had assured that everything was arranged well and appropriate attendants would be selected to serve them. Nevertheless, Lian Zhizhi was still concerned.
Lian Manman didn't insist, considering they lived in the same house, it wouldn't be inconvenient to meet.
