Wei Anning turned around and saw a glint of astonishment pass through his eyes. She looked down at herself, "Is the dress pretty?"
Gong Ting stood with his hands in his trouser pockets, gazing at her thoughtfully. The dazzling light shone down from above, and he seemed to see her in a white veil, tenderly walking towards him.
This was the scene he had longed for all his life. A stirring filled his heart. He took his hands out of his pockets, slowly ascended the steps, came to her, and lifted her hand to his lips, kissing it restrainedly on the back.
Wei Anning immediately withdrew her hand, her expression a bit awkward, "Um, I'll go change out of the dress."
Gong Ting looked at her flustered state, reached out to hold both her shoulders. His hands were very cold, causing Wei Anning to shiver involuntarily. She said, "Gong Ting, let go of me."
Gong Ting released her, putting his hands back in his pockets, "I'll wait for you in the hall."
