Gong Ting got up and left the dining room, driving back to the Gong residence, where the Butler informed him that his father was waiting for him in the study.
He went to the study, knocked on the door, and went in. Gong Zhen was standing with his hands behind his back at the window. Hearing footsteps behind him, he turned around and stared at him, "With such a big problem, why didn't you tell me?"
Gong Ting stood tall, a slight frown on his brow. "I wanted to solve it myself."
"And have you thought of a solution?" Gong Zhen asked calmly.
Gong Ting shook his head. "Not yet. The new customs director is still unknown in terms of faction allegiances. He is tough to deal with, and he seems to be deliberately targeting our Gong Family."
"Never mind whose man he is, have you thought about why he is going against our Gong Family?"
