The car door opened, and Zheng Yuanjie and Sister Zheng got into the car.
Feng Yongzhuo asked, "Where to?"
Zheng Yuanjie mentioned the address that Xiaoma gave over the phone.
Feng Yongzhuo said, "I've never heard of this place, let me pull up the GPS." After speaking, he opened the car's navigation system. When he found the area marked by that address, he realized it was out by the fourth or fifth ring, the city's outskirts.
"Is it your friend's house?"
Hearing his question, Zheng Yuanjie thought of how he seemed interested in Xiaoma when speaking earlier during the day, so she explained, "Xiaoma sometimes has to stay overnight here because of work, his friend let him rent a place, and we're just heading over to stay the night."
Upon hearing her say that she and her mom were going to a man's place overnight, and given a gut feeling, Feng Yongzhuo instinctively believed that this guy, Xiaoma, couldn't possibly have invited them over just out of sheer goodwill.
