The war room moved before anyone needed to repeat the order.
Monica was the first to act. Her face was still pale, but her voice came out sharp, precise, and completely functional. In less than ten seconds, assistants were already running to the communication crystals, maps were being dragged back across the table, authorization seals were being stamped onto emergency orders, and messengers left the room almost tripping over one another. Asgard's administrative machine, which usually seemed frightening because of its efficiency, at that moment looked like a living creature waking for war.
"Southeastern barrier in containment mode, not extermination," Monica said. "If the beasts are fleeing, I do not want a mountain of corpses blocking the route and spreading panic. Open side corridors to push them toward the empty ravines. Guild teams stay in the rear. Common guards do not enter direct combat without authorization."
Rogue nodded immediately.
