Darkness...
Nothing but darkness.
And then whispers.
Those whispers soon became chilling.
Until a voice overpowered them all.
"I know from experience that you can handle pain but you can't handle the pain of your loved ones" Nayat dropped Kaito to the stone cold ground, which soon frosted over.
"I believe I asked you a question earlier do you care to answer it?" Nayat questioned as the cries of a new born echoed throughout the cave.
"Nero is that you?" Kaito mumbled as he felt his body crack with every movement no matter how subtle.
Nayat remained silent as he watched sparks trickle down Kaito's body almost as if they were snowflakes.
"Maybe you need sometime to think just don't take too long now I don't think he has much time left" Nayat caused a cave in as he made his exit.
Eight hours later...
Smash!
Nayat broke through into the black.
"You still alive boy?".
Silence...
"Hmm maybe you were just weak after all" Nayat sighed as he stepped out into the light.
"Wa... wait you asked a question didn't you well I have your answer just save my brother" Kaito attempted to extend his arm unsure if he was just hearing voices again or if Nayat was truly there.
"So if I save the new born from starvation you will tell me how you gained this new appearance?" Nayat dragged Kaito into the light.
Blood dripping onto Nayat's feet flowing through the cracks of his rock like skin.
"Are you going to answer me or shall I just kill you now boy?" the berserker slapped Kaito against the ground.
"Just promise me he'll live" Kaito spoke, each word agonising.
"I give you my word" the prince grasped a hold of the new born.
