A familiar silhouette stood upon Ivy's corpse, as the sludge consumed her body.
"What even is that" Aro prepared himself for almost anything but this, this monster couldn't have been imagined prior to this encounter.
"So you are the reason I was drawn to the outskirts" the Ghoul spoke so calmly as if he were a friend.
"Oh you are probably in shock of my appearance well I assure you I'm not the first person to wear this face" the Ghoul lunged towards Aro, it's body fading into sludge.
And as the sludge slapped against Aro's body the Ghoul recreated itself, it's fingers sinking into Aro's muscles.
"You are not Kray but then how else could I explain your face" Aro snatched the sludge only for it to latch back onto his skin.
"Oh it's quite simple really, I'm just a fake, a warped copy of an already existing entity" the copy sunk to the ground, forming a puddle.
Aro attempted to leave but just as his foot began to step off the puddle a spike was formed using the Ghoul's body.
Tearing his foot from the spike Aro propelled himself into the air, escaping the Ghoul.
But despite the distance between Aro and the sludge, the Ghoul launched its arm into the air just like a Kiren.
And just like Aro, the Ghoul dragged him down to the surface, smashing his body against the barren terrain.
Seconds later and the Ghoul had been reborn anew as if his body never turned to sludge in the first place.
"You look just like Kray damn it" Aro gave up his body's reluctancy to attack.
And with this came Aro's physical monster state.
"Oh that steam it tickles, you can't boil me" Kray evaporated only to reappear beside the boiling monster.
And as the Ghoul appeared Aro felt his body penetrated by what seemed to be continuously growing spikes.
"I can feel, no I can't feel anything" Aro felt his body succumb to the Ghoul.
That is until all the steam inside Aro's body released at once creating a strong enough impact to separate the Kiren from the Ghoul.
Aro fell to his knees as he felt his stamina plummet.
"Well then I guess Vault city has nothing to worry about, you are too weak to fight any Ghoul, never mind the strongest like me" the Ghoul spoke with certainty as his body faded into the sand never to be seen again.
