The Abyss, its depths.
This is the world's outer side, a territory within the Main Material Plane that no lifeform has ever set foot on.
To the beings of the Western Continent, everything in the Abyss is unknown.
Even in the imagination of most intelligent races or even Fabled Creatures, the interior of the Abyss should be a silent purgatory, an arid land where no life exists.
But in reality, this is not the case.
Just like in the Element Plane, filled with searing heat, where no life with flesh and blood could exist, there are still 'Fire Elements' and 'Hellfire Sovereigns' born.
Life is the most resilient miracle in this world.
No one knows where the life inside the Abyss originates from. Perhaps it stems from the time when the world first began, when the boundary between the outer and inner sides of the world was not yet as distinct and insurmountable as it is now, during a chaotic era.
