The forest surrounding the castle was shrouded in mist; the rain had washed the leaves clean, and the entire forest was lush and vibrant.

The vivid red mushrooms were all poisonous. The servants especially taught Miemie Dragon to differentiate which mushrooms were poisonous and which were not, to prevent him from being attracted to them while playing outside.
After Lu Xiaoyou and Long Xiliang left, the child lay on the windowsill, gazing at the familiar scenery of the forest in boredom.
Occasionally, some birds would fly in and perch on the windowsill. The child would talk to these birds; sometimes, they would chatter back and converse with him for quite a while.
