Chow Yun's voice was neither loud nor soft; the Shopkeeper, busy calculating accounts with his head down, trembled slightly and moved the wrong bead on the abacus.
When the Shopkeeper looked up with a face full of shock, he only caught a glimpse of a petite silhouette in light purple heading towards the inner room.
The Shopkeeper's heart tightened.
This silhouette indeed resembled his wife!
Feeling uneasy, the Shopkeeper left the long line of patients waiting to pay and collect their medicine, stepping out from behind the counter. He was just about to enter the inner room for a look when, from the corner of his eye, he caught sight of another figure. With a closer look, he exclaimed, unsure if it was with surprise or joy, "Miss Chow Yun?"
It seemed the figure that just went into the inner room was indeed his wife!
Chow Yun smiled, "I didn't expect Shopkeeper Shui to still remember me. But I am already married, so I'm not a 'Miss' anymore."
