On the bed in the special ward, Seo Fei was connected to several tubes, and the machines beside her emitted monotonous sounds one after another.
When she finally awakened from her coma, there was no one else in the room.
Outside the door, two guards were dutifully stationed.
Seo Fei slowly opened her eyes, looking at the pristine white ceiling of the hospital above her. She suddenly felt like crying, the heavy burden of loneliness and helplessness in her heart almost suffocating her.
