Leng Zirui took the empty cup from her hand. "Go freshen up, there's pajamas in the bag..."
Outside the door, a knock sounded, followed by Ah Ke's voice. "Mr. ROY, we should go."
"Coming," Leng Zirui replied loudly, raising his hand to pinch her face. "Be good, I'll be back soon."
Xu Xia grabbed his hand, stood up, and approached to give him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll wait for you."
"No need to wait for me, just sleep well, lock the door, that's enough. That door... won't stop me," Leng Zirui pecked her cheek lightly. "I'm leaving!"
Xu Xia walked him to the door, then chased to the window, pulled open the curtain, and watched their car drive away before retreating back to the room. She opened the paper bag he left on the floor, and indeed found neatly folded women's clothes inside—there were pajamas, underwear, sportswear, even a pair of comfortable flat shoes and two pairs of cotton socks.
"This guy... so busy yet has the leisure to go shopping."
