The assistant drove the car back into the city and stopped directly near Lei's Nightclub.
Shangguan Feng just glanced at the nightclub across the street, then immediately ordered his assistant to go find out whether Lei Qingqing was there.
"If they ask, just say I have a few friends coming in from abroad and I want to consult Miss Ray about hotel arrangements."
The assistant agreed, got out of the car, crossed the road, and walked into the nightclub. He made a round inside, then went up to the bar and found someone to ask.
"Is Miss Ray here?"
Hearing someone asking about Lei Qingqing, one of Lei's men standing to the side immediately walked over, giving Shangguan Feng's assistant a once-over from head to toe. "Who are you, and what do you want with her?"
The assistant smiled. "I'm Randy, assistant to Mr. Shangguan Feng. There are some things I'd like to ask Miss Ray about."
When he heard the name Shangguan Feng, that underling's expression eased at once.
