Even though Jianghai Province had just entered early autumn, Beiyuan—the northernmost region of the Dragon Country—was already freezing cold. Some areas were even blanketed in snow. Aside from the biting chill, the frigid wind sweeping across the land carried an indescribable shadow of Death and the oppressive weight of brutal slaughter.
This was especially true in the far north, beneath the mountain ridges, where an impenetrable defense line had been forged by an endless tide of steel, Pet Beasts, and Beastmasters. Behind them lay Beiyuan Province of the Dragon Nation, and before them lay the battlefield!
