Ameriah looked up at Nathan with wide, expectant eyes, her heartbeat thundering so loudly in her ears she was certain he could hear it. Her breath came in short, shallow gasps as the full weight of his promise settled over her.

"Now remove your dress and show me your body, Ameriah," Nathan commanded softly, his hand trailing from between her legs to rest on her shoulder, fingers brushing against the thin strap of her nightgown.
