The surviving members of the Frontier stood together amid the carnage — Eve, Zadkiel, Adam, Seraphina, Kai, Don, Dr. Jin, and a handful of battered soldiers under Adam's divine protection. Their armor was cracked, faces bloodied, eyes hollow with exhaustion.
The ground shook. A distant explosion tore through the city — the exact direction Xiao Ling and Li Wei had vanished.
Eve turned sharply, her crimson eyes wide.
Eve: "...That came from underground."
Her voice quivered — she already knew.
Adam slowly raised his head, sensing the energy fade away into nothingness.
He didn't need to see it to understand what had just happened.
Adam (quietly): "They're gone."
A silence fell over the group — deeper than the roar of the storm, heavier than the destruction around them. Even Seraphina, whose fury had always burned bright, stood still — her wings flickering weakly with fading light.
Dr. Jin: "So… that's another comrade lost."
He clenched his fists, his voice shaking between grief and anger.
Dr. Jin: "Every time we fight, this war takes something else from us."
Don: "Then we keep fighting no matter what."
Don wiped blood from his face, his eyes hard with rage. "Law's still out there."
Zadkiel looked to the sky, his enormous wings spreading in defiance despite the burns covering them.
Zadkiel: "Xiao Ling sacrifice won't be for nothing."
He turned his gaze toward the distance, where Law's power rippled like a storm eating reality itself.
Seraphina: "Then we end this… here and now."
Seraphina blade ignited with flame,
Adam stepped forward, his body glowing faintly with divine light — the essence he had stolen from God Himself.
His voice was calm, resolute, yet heavy with grief.
Adam: "No more running. No more graves. This ends today — whether it's victory… or all of us dying together."
Eve moved beside him, her hand resting on his arm.
Her eyes — fierce yet sorrowful — met his.
Eve: "Then we stand as one."
The group formed a line — battered, scarred, but unbroken. Behind them, the wreckage of two worlds collided — Earth, Heaven, and the ruins of countless realms torn apart by war.
In the far horizon, the sky split open — Law's aura rising like a sun made of pure oblivion.
Thunder roared. Shadows screamed.
And so, they began to march —
toward the final confrontation,
toward the god who had already declared himself eternal,
and toward a destiny that promised either salvation…
or the absolute end of everything.
