The assistant rushed over to help General Barton up from the ground, while an underling picked up the gun that had fallen.
General Barton took the pistol, spat out a mouthful of blood, and stood up straight again.
"Relay my command, everyone, launch a full attack on the east side of Chihe!"
An underling replied and dashed out of the conference room. General Barton took the gun from the assistant, raised it, and aimed at Abel.
Major Olay stepped forward, pulling Abel behind him, using his own body as a shield.
The other had just saved his life, how could he let Abel get hurt because of him?
"Do you want to die?" General Barton's tone was fierce, "Then I'll grant your wish!"
Bang!
A gunshot echoed from outside, then the door of the conference room burst open, and the soldier who had just run out to relay the command fell back through the door covered in blood.
Several figures then rushed in from outside the door.
