Chapter One Hundred Seventy-Six:
Merwa Mountain
Manu and Edelweiss House
Our last day and last night finally came to an end but still, no one came to tell us about it. But I prefer that no one came because neither Haimon nor I think this is the last day being together living normally.
"What are you doing here?" Haimon asked as he approaches me.
"Come! Sit beside me." I answered and smiled.
"What are you drawing?" he asked and looks at my sketches. "Uhm, there are wonderful."
"Thanks!" I gladly answered although I have some doubt of what I'm doing because it's been so long since I do some sketches. Because sketching was one of my minor subjects but then when I graduated, I became busy with work and business so I didn't have any practice of sketching and I can tell that this is my first time once again. "But do you really think I still have some touch of this?" I curiously asked him.
"Of course, why you ask?"
"Well, it's been a long time since I do this that is why I have some doubts if I can still sketch just like before."
"You still have the touch, my Love." he said and smiled. "You still haven't lost your drawing skills so don't worry this is a wonderful piece."
What he said melts my heart and I could read through his eyes his sincerity and honesty that is why I am sure he was telling the truth, enough for me to thank him with all my heart.
"I love you, Haimon." I replied.
"I love you more, Mrs. Shu Tokino Del Gazini." He answered and hugs me tightly. "I'm glad that you are doing this again." he said afterwards while looking through the scenery in front of us.
"I just thought I'd try to draw again while we're here. I wish we had some memories of this place. And justice can't be done lightly if I just take a picture of it with my cell phone so I decide to sketch and draw the whole scenery."
"Uhm," Haimon nodded. "You were right. This place is so wonderful, it won't justify if we just take some picture of this place." He agreed.
"Also, I want to draw something special."
"And what is it?"
"Us. Using the wonderful scenery as our background," I answered because I really wanted to record our time being together because I don't know if how long our journey to the underworld will last.
"Are you afraid that your journey to the underworld might take a long time?" he asked that surprised me since that it's exactly what I was thinking.
"How did you know that was on my mind?" I surprisingly asked.
"I just felt it." he answered. "So, I am right."
"Yeah! I'm afraid it will take long as soon as our journey to the underworld begins and I don't want to leave you alone just like that. The reason why I decided to record our time mostly for our last day being together, I want to leave you a present that I used to do. That is why I begin to sketch and practice more so that I can draw us before the sun goes down."
Haimon looks at me straight in the eye before he deeply sighs and says. "If only I could go to the underworld with you…" he paused and just silently looks me in the eye.
I hold his hands tightly. "I know you really want to come but I also can't let you be in danger so I promise you I'll be back as soon as possible. I promise you."
…
Silence…
What she said made me feel guilty for hiding a truth from her. Because it was Ansel himself who said he would take me to the underworld but I couldn't ride the boat that will lead them to the gates of hell. I don't know why I didn't tell her the truth or because I was also afraid that she would know I had a role to play that I knew she would never allow.
To bait the void brothers, Ansel told me the only way to show themselves is by luring them using me, myself, as Ansel's bait the reason why I couldn't tell the truth to Shu Tokino because she won't agree to it.
"Love?" Shu Tokino finally breaks my silence and I quickly smiled at her.
"So, how are you going to be able to draw us together?" I just asked to avoid her on the topic about the underworld. Yet, I don't know how long I can keep this secret but as long as I can, I will keep the truth, so for now I'll just enjoy our last day without even thinking of anything.

"You finally came, Galdur." Ansel immediately greeted Galdur as he came with Navina.
"Tomorrow is the day of our journey to the underworld, isn't it?"
"Yes."
"Then, Shu Tokino has to die."
"Not necessarily she needs to die."
"Oh," he just simply answered.
"What? Do you still want her to die forever?"
"Seriously speaking, yes!" He honestly answered. "For without her no life would be sacrificed."
"Which she did not want, Galdur." Navina suddenly answered. "Ta dihin hintugusgu in Alcina an manlama an togus ngom tiganhimag hilda as mga riyanang."
"Lama ok. Rope dihin ok ngal sangwaima litgama hilda kana-nasrara yasi ng hanyagalika yonnga an hitka an mingrama tengsennui haybu nga lawama." He answered. "Yet, I won't allow myself to dominate revenge because that's not what matters right now. Most important now is we need to defeat the void brothers completely to stop this long chaos."
"You were right, Galdur." Ansel agreed. "Now, all we can do is ready ourselves. Because the hardest thing we have to do is to separate the siblings. And to do that, we need all the help that we can get before Shu Tokino finally rides the boat going to the gates of hell and save Manu's soul out of his protected place."
