"Then we must find that portal as soon as we can," Thorne said, now halfway into a stiff, slightly-too-shiny leather armor. He looked ridiculously serious for someone in a freezing tundra.
"Hey! What about us?" Akali piped up, rubbing her arms. "We're also freezing over here!"
Thorne's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Figure it out yourselves."
"Fine by me," Seth muttered, clearly unconcerned.
"I can warm myself just by moving," Dagur said, stretching lazily.
Akali rolled her eyes and jabbed a finger at Thorne. "How did you even manage to craft an item like that? Oh wait… you can't, since you only know how to steal."
Before another argument could erupt, Kairos stepped in, arms crossed. "Let's split up to cover more ground and find the portal."
"Wait," I said, holding up my hands. "Keep this close."
I handed out small pendant-like devices, one for each of them.
Kairos glanced at it, raising a brow. "What's this?"
