We've been on the road for the past two and the half hour with a car filled with scary men, starring deep into me. The silence was deafening. I didn't want the speak or ask any questions, so I just silently road stayed along with them.
The car arrived at a mansion. "Your back Sir, and you have a visitor" a guy who was with a handsome face and tall statue, greeted him at the door.
"Who is it Theo?" He asked with a commanding tone.
I watched as Theo whispered something into his ear and his mood changed entirely. "Flora" he called out as immediately a middle aged woman with a pair of glasses and blond hair arrived. "Your back Sir" she responded with her head down.
"Yes, and please take her to her room" he said pointing at me. He strutted into the mansion and walked up the stairs, the middle aged woman lead me to my room.
"Here are two maids who will be your personal maid, you don't need to do anything cause they will take care of everything" Flora said.
"Please if you need anything let us know Ma" they said with their heads down.
"Thank you" I replied.
"We should leave you now so you can have a warm bath and come downstairs for dinner" she said.
"Before you go, please who is the owner of this house" I asked, as they all looked supriesed.
"It's Sir Rafael, why did you ask Ma?"
"Nothing, thank you" I said as they all left the room.
I sat on the bed and ran my hand through my hair one thing for sure, I don't understand whats going on. Like my father is dead and it's Nash that killed him, and why did my father give me the flash drive? And who is this Rafael of a person? And why am I here with him? And it seems like he knows me. I questioned myself till I eventually fell asleep on the nice soft bed.
I worked up to the bright light shinning on my face and sounds like whispers. I opened my eyes and standing at my front was no other than Rafael himself along with the Floral and the two maids.
"Get up" he said in a scary tone. Even the maids were shaking.
"What is it" I said as I got up from the bed, tying my hair into a ponytail.
"Excuse us" he said as immediately they all left except from Rafael. "Good morning sunshine, now here's the thing, am really surprised that you didn't try to escape yesterday instead you got comfortable and slept like a little baby" he casually said like we've been friends.
"What did you expect, I haven't had a lot of sleep since I came back. Now straight to the point" I rudely said to him.
"So I hope you know that last night you swear to marry me" he said.
"No I didn't".
"Ohhh yes you did cupcake" he sipped a cup of coffee.
"You threaten me" I said to him.
"Nope I didn't I gave you a choice and you picked marriage"
"You call death a choice" I scoffed.
"Yes. I don't have time to hold a shit wedding and stupid stuffs like that, instead I got us our marriage certificate and rings" he said passing me a ring worth millons of dollars. "If anyone asked you, we fell in love at first sight and net abroad, we just got married two days ago with ourselves and a priest. And don't you dare go around spitting our nonsense to people" he said giving me a death stare.
"Why would anyone asked that?" I said.
"Stop asking the questions and just do as I tell you. And one more thing" his expression got more serious just like last night. "Am not joking when I say you are now my wife and darling you have to act like one unless, tell your pretty face goodbye" he said, giving me cold sweat.
"I understand " I said.
"Good" he moved closer to me and begin to brush my hair with his hands "you really are pretty wife, would be a waste if this face gets fucked up" he said as be landed a kiss on my forehead and walked away.
"What the hell was that" I said to myself, with shaking legs.
I don't know why everything in this room is freaking expensive, including the cloths, I wonder what kind of business he does.
"You don't have to be nervous Ma" a maid name Beth said as she was the one doing my makeup.
"Why shouldn't I be?" I asked her.
"You know we're use to seeing Sir bring in lot of young girls like you, and none of them ever survived to see the next day, you should count yourself lucky Ma, cause Sir is really a picky person" the other maid name Queen said, like it's awful things that have been going on in this house.
"So other girls have also been here?" I asked.
"Yes Ma" Beth said.
There was a sudden knock on the door.
"Ma I think you need to go to the table so they Sir won't get angry. They weren't done with my makeup, but it was like that knock on the door was some sort of treat to them. "Okay" I said as I walked out of the room and meet Theo the boy from yesterday.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Thoe and I work for boss" he quickly introduced himself.
"And I am Zaira Rafael's wife" I also introduced myself.
"Yeah we all have heard about you and we've been waiting for you. Shall we go to the table Ma?" One thing about this boy is that he looks charming and polite unlike Rafael. I followed him to a gathering of some group of people reminded me of my own family. "Am here" I said dragging everyone's attention to myself. I sat on a chair beside Rafael who for no reason looked pissed off, as there was a total silence among everyone.
"Let me introduce you all to Zaira my new wife" he said like I was a nobody in their parents.
"Isn't she the wasted sperm of the White family" a guy in gold hair said.
"Yes and do you have a problem with that" Rafael defended me.
"So you went ahead and marry her even when your father warned you not to, and wasn't it yesterday her father died in a fire outbreak " another guy in black hair said, who had a similar look to Rafael.
Just them talking of my father, reminded me of the last day I saw him, if I had known I would have come back sooner.
"Yes and now your making her your wife, have a little respect for yourself Rafael, from rumors I heard she even got kicked out of her family house because she and her mother who was once a maid were known as thieves, and you now get married to a disgusting underage child" the golden hair guy said as he spitescon my face, making me to bust into tears, of false accusations.
"Did you just make my wife cry" Rafael said following a heavy silence, as who was already eating stopped instantly.
"Ohh no I told you of her history cousin" the golden hair boy said.
"Apologize to her" Rafael calmly said.
"Why should I?" He scoffed.
"One thing I hate" he got up from his chair and slowly begin to walk to golden hairs chair. "Is just because I gave you a slite space to look at me In the face, then you begin to look me In the eye. I will delightedly cut out that eye ball.
Without him speaking any word Theo and another guy in suit, held down the golden hair guy as Rafael picked up a fork and stabbed it into his eye dragging them out, then instantly put it into Golden hair's mouth forcing him to swallow his own eyes. The scene was really disgusting to watch, but I just sat there like everyone else having nothing to say.
"Does anyone else have anything to say about my wife?" Who would answer such question, as there was no one's head up. "Good, get this place cleaned up" he said as he walked out of the gathering.
Now am starting to wish I pick the second option.
