Monfi stood there frozen for a long while. Even the crashing two halves of his hammer didn't make him move. Instead, it was the blood that dripped down from his chin to the ground that seemed to shake him awake.
He shakily brought a hand up, touching it with a pair of fingers and then looking down at it.
Even after all of that, he couldn't seem to bring himself to look at Sylas directly. Yet, that sight wasn't one he could escape nonetheless.
His blood was such a bright crimson all sorts of light rebounded across its surface…
Including Sylas' gaze.
Monfi's heart shook as he saw the indifferent reflection reflected in his bead of blood. He felt almost like something inside of him was irrevocably breaking.
