What was going on? The one who had just fought her was only a phantom? Was that an effect of the Domain? Then this Domain was truly strange.
At that moment, Astoria also slowly woke up in Daphne's arms.
After waking, she quickly realized what had happened, and two faint blushes immediately appeared on her pale face. She struggled hard, trying to break free from her sister's embrace.
Careless! Truly careless! She had been knocked unconscious by that woman's spell just now. It was an utter humiliation.
Astoria could not help but think of how her sister had once been instantly defeated by Godric's armor. Compared to that, she was in a far more miserable state. Her sister had only embarrassed herself in front of her, but Astoria had lost all face in front of Granger and Diggory.
"Are you alright?" Seeing her sister wake up, Daphne pressed down on the squirming Astoria and held her in her arms, asking with concern.
"I'm fine," Astoria replied in a muffled voice. "Just some flesh wounds. Maybe one or two broken ribs? Sis, loosen up a bit, I can't breathe…"
"Oh, right." Daphne quickly loosened her hold, and the girl immediately rolled out of her sister's arms. Unfortunately, she accidentally pulled at her injuries, causing her expression to twist in pain.
"Be careful—"
"I'm fine," Astoria responded with a strained expression.
She was Astoria of the Greengrass family. She had to keep herself composed and not lose face in front of outsiders.
With sheer willpower, Astoria suppressed the pain. She took out some dittany from the small pouch in her arms and began treating her wounds.
After pouring the dittany onto the injuries, they quickly healed. She frowned at the newly grown flesh and could not help but feel a bit worried. Would it leave scars? She would have to buy some scar-removal ointment later.
After dealing with the external injuries, she used a delicate spell to set her broken bones back into place. Despite the intense pain, she managed to heal herself with an expressionless face.
Seeing that her sister could even treat her own wounds and appeared to be fine, Daphne shot Aries a glare. She remembered clearly that this woman had just claimed that if her sister was not treated in time, she might die. It turned out to be nothing but a bluff, making her worry for quite a while.
Aries, however, was completely confused. What was going on? Was she being blamed for not striking to kill? Was the relationship between these sisters really that bad? But she soon had no time to think further. After finishing her treatment, Astoria walked straight up to her and pressed her wand against her arm.
"Wait, I've already surrendered—" Aries cried out in panic, hoping the other young wizards would intervene so she would not be retaliated against.
"I know," Astoria said coldly. "This is just a necessary precaution."
Hearing that Astoria only intended to take some defensive measures, Hermione and Cedric swallowed the words they were about to say.
Two simple spells flashed, and Aries's arms went limp.
She was horrified to find that her arms had instantly lost all sensation, as if they had turned into two rubber sticks.
"It's a very simple reverse spell. I removed the bones from your arms to prevent you from using magic to launch a sneak attack," Astoria explained "kindly" what she had done.
Aries: ???
She really wanted to ask, if they were worried about her using magic to launch a sneak attack, then why not seal her tongue as well? But for the sake of her tongue's safety, Aries obediently kept her mouth shut.
Still, she grumbled inwardly. A foolish little witch without a Domain. A true Domain wizard would not be afraid of this at all. With the power of a Domain, it would take her only a second to regrow the missing bones. Unfortunately, that phantom was an expert. He had directly sealed both her magic and her Domain.
"Help me clean this up," Hermione called out to Daphne, signaling for her to help tidy the library, which had been reduced to ruins.
"This is your Domain. Can't it repair itself automatically?" Daphne asked curiously.
Hermione: "…"
In truth, she was not very sure either. Daphne had hit the key point with that question.
"Last time, after we dealt with the puppets here, didn't everything restore itself automatically?" Daphne recalled the battle that had taken place here before the holidays.
"And Rhys's phantom as well. It always recovers. If the phantom can, then these tables, chairs, and bookshelves should be able to as well, right?" Daphne added.
Hermione frowned.
In reality, Rhys's phantom also needed time to recover. It would not "reset" simply because she opened and closed the Domain once. Hermione knew that the Domain itself was accumulating the power it had consumed, but she had yet to figure out the interval required.
"Reparo." While Daphne and Hermione were discussing whether the Domain could restore itself automatically, Cedric had already begun cleaning up the scene.
For wizards, restoring a messy scene to its original state was not particularly difficult. It only required proficiency in the repair spell.
Seeing that Cedric had already started working, Hermione and Daphne both blushed slightly and immediately joined in.
In just a few minutes, the library was cleaned up. Aside from the parts that had been completely destroyed by spells and could no longer be used, everything else was restored.
"Alright, I'm going to lift the Domain," Hermione said, glancing at the now orderly library. A sense of relief rose in her heart.
She dispelled her Domain.
The four of them, along with Aries who had become a prisoner, now stood on the grass of the stadium. Outside, chaos still reigned, and the canopy above the stadium continued to flash with multicolored lights.
"They've been fighting for this long?" Aries was stunned. "Is that guy with the Blood Domain really that tough? We went through such a battle down here, and the fight above still hasn't ended?"
"Let's get out first," Daphne said, not bothering to explain the intricacies of Hermione's Domain. She and Astoria each grabbed one of Aries's arms and flew out through an opening high above the stadium. Hermione followed behind them.
Cedric watched the witches flying into the sky and could not help but sigh. He used magic to open a hole in the ground and slipped out as well.
Not long after they left, Ministry of Magic employees sent by Minister Bones arrived to maintain order. Each of them cast the Sonorus Charm on themselves.
With Taurus on the canopy already dragged into a difficult battle by Rhys and no longer able to stir up emotions within the stadium, combined with the commands of the Ministry officials, the crowd gradually calmed down.
To speed up the evacuation, the officials also opened many additional exits along the walls. The audience poured out, and soon the vast stadium became empty.
