Zhang Yuxi and Du Yan were in the living room with the children, while Lin Feng and Lin Rui chatted in the kitchen.
Lin Rui got straight to the point. "Lin Feng, I'm planning to set up a driving school."
Lin Feng continued chopping vegetables. "That's great! Owning your own driving school, being your own boss—that sounds like a good plan."
Lin Rui nodded. "I had this idea two years ago, but I didn't have much money back then. Now I have some, but I'm afraid to take the plunge. I'm worried I might lose everything."
"Then why do you want to start one now?" Lin Feng asked.
Lin Rui sighed. "Look at the men in our Lin Family. Even the youngest, Lin Jie, got into Peking University and has already bought a house. I feel like I have to give it a shot. The worst that can happen is I lose it all and have to start over from scratch. Anyway, I have a marketable skill. As long as I don't starve, I'll be fine."
Lin Feng nodded. "That's a solid plan."
