"That ties us up Erza with ten wins each." I shoot her a challenging smirk and she returns it.
"Well then I suppose next hand settles it then."
"We never did decide what the winner gets." Erza smirks and leans over; pressing against me and putting her lips against my ear.
"Oh don't worry, I have something special for you if you win and if I do I'll make sure you enjoy it as well." I shiver as she blows into my ear before pulling back with a smirk. Well then…
Cards are dealt and I take in my hand and decide going all in is the best way to go; Erza following my lead and one more of the others. The flop is then revealed and I hold back a smirk at the results; Erza doesn't quite manage.
"Well then; shall we Straight Flush." Erza shows her hand, revealing her cards picked up from the middle of the flush but her confidence falters when my grin doesn't."
"Sorry to burst your bubble my dear knight but I win. Royal Flush." Erza's pout is cute and the crowd around us goes wild over the result. I offer her my hand; content to be finished and Erza takes it.
And then the explosions start.

"What was that?!"
"Is it a firework show?"
"AHHHH!" Screams start to erupt as the explosions keep happening and Erza and I are already up just in time for a bunch of people in robes to run into the casino with staffs and other such tools ready to shoot. Fuck Jellal decided a full blown assault was the way to go rather then relying on emotional damage. I'm already forming Gaster Blasters and firing while Erza requips into her regular armor. Given the roar that rings out I'm, assuming Natsu is in battle as well.
"GRAB THE SACRIFICE!! FOR LORD JELLAL" And there's the confirmation and Erza goes pale and freezes for a second. One tries to take advantage but the THWOMP introduces him to the ground. Chains and Shackles erupt from the ground and pull half of the attackers to the floor while the rest are downed with Arc infused blasters.
"Pleiadies, Shalltear, Albedo, Ushi, take them out." All my forces appear and without a word get to work; knocking out the restrained ones and moving out to find anymore attackers while I focus on Erza.
"Erza, talk to me."
"It.. it can't be him."
"Erza what's going on?"
"I… Jellal is someone I know but why.. why does he want me."
"I doubt it's anything good given the word sacrifice was used. Le..GHACK!!!" I double over as a pink blur slams into me, something slamming into my stomach and launching me into the wall.
"ROXAS!" Erza cries out and I look up to see her sword clashing against Ikaruga's.
"I'll admit I've wanted to cross swords with you before; it's a shame I can't go all out."
"I don't know who you are but if you think holding back is wise you'll regret it."
"Oh I know that to do so against you is to invite defeat but this job is a bit outside Trinity Raven's usual; we don't do capture requests usually but for what you're worth…" Ikaruga doesn't finish her sentence, jumping back and swinging her sword and Erza's breaks in response.
"What?" I manage to get up and try to pin her down but all the restraints I form are sliced to pieces and then the ceiling breaks and the owl-headed man swoops down.
"Erza behind you!" Gaster Blasters fire but for a large man Fukuro is quite agile and dives around them; his mouth extending and with a large gulp Erza is swallowed.
"Hoo-Hoo! Justice is served!!"

"Hoo-Hoo! You can try foul villain but today evildoers such as you shall fall." As he speaks a few locks of red hair grow out and his eyes turn into copies of Erza's
"Fukuro enough; you take the prize back to the boss; Vidaldus and I shall follow."
"Right away Lady Ikaruga."

I don't bother with Chains and Shackles or any other way of trying to hold him down. Instead I focus on trying to destroy Fukuro's jetpack before he can fly out of here.
"HOOT!!HOOT!!" Fukuro throws out his hands and dozens of random swords pop up, shooting out and slamming into several of the Blasters while Ikagura swings her sword and cuts apart the rest with a smug smile on her face as Fukuro shoots up.
"ERZA!!" I cry out as the owl-hybrid vanishes.
"Ohh; too bad. You failed to protect your lover and now she's off to be used a sacrifice. I do wonder if she'll forgive you for your failure. Now then shall I be kind and let you die rather then live with this failure."
Huh… i don't know if I've ever felt this angry, not just at the situation but at myself. I didn't take the threat seriously enough, didn't think Jellal might escalate for a number of different reasons given I was a small army with my familiars. Still … we can still stop this, still win, I just have to get through this bitch first.
"Pleiades." The maids appear; leaving Ushi, Albedo, and Shalltear to help the others or handle the chaff.
"Lord Roxas." As one they speak and I point at Ikaruga, while bringing Riptide out."
"This woman just aided in kidnapping Erza, feel free to go all out to your heart's content."

I stuck around because while I know the Pleiades are capable I didn't want to take any risks, Ikaruga was the leader of the best unit of assassins in a guild that specializes in that and she has never lost a battle.
I was worried for nothing in the end; it makes me a little upset I didn't call them back sooner and just jump her.
Lupus started it off with a barrage of fire balls, easily cut up but they hid Entoma's bullet beetles that flew at her and forced the assassin to move right into Yuri's path; gauntleted fist blocked with a sword seconds before it could break Ikaruga's nose.
"Hmm, one down." Ikaruga proclaims and smiles as Yuri's head falls off. Her eyes look over to us and our lack of concern throws her off and the kidney punch she takes has her stepping back in shock but she get's herself together enough to keep her head when CZ starts shooting. Narbaral getting in close with her spear sparking and Ikaruga countering with her flaming sword.
"NOW!" Yuri's head cries out from it's place on the floor and her body and Lupus join in on the melee, Ikaruga finding herself overwhelmed by the three with pot shots from Entoma's centi-whip and CZ's shots. I watch as the panic sets in, as the certainty Ikaruga felt disappears and when I see my opening I take it; Chains erupting from the ground, not targeting her but her sword.
"NO!" The assassin cries as her blade is ripped from her hands and then she takes a double blow from the flat of Lupus' ax and Yuri's gauntlet which sends her flying towards the one member of Pleiades that hadn't stepped in so far.

Ikaruga hits her and Solution's body wraps around her and starts to drag her inside.
"NO! LET ME GO!! WHAT ARE YOU!! NO!!!!"

"Mmh; thank you for the meal Master. I'm sure she'll tide me over for a while." I find myself completely uncaring about how long Ikaruga will be suffering for, I mean if that carriage guy could be kept alive for around a day or so then she'll be lasting a lot longer.
"Right … fuck I want to chase after the owl first but no way can we ignore the last one of those fucks either." Besides I'd like numbers and Juvia especially before we try and attack an island.
"Lord Roxas." I look to find Ushi speeding into the room.
"We have a problem! The enemy commander has taken control of Mirajane. We have managed to keep him from fleeing and Lady Albedo and Lady Shalltear continue to harass him but he threatens to have Mirajane kill herself "
The scream of rage that erupts from my throat sounds slightly inhuman to me and I rush out; Ushi easily seeing what I want and leading me through the hotel, debris and bodies laying on the ground until we reach outside where Vidaldus is working his way towards the beach alongside Mirajane decked out in a rocker outfit that makes me want to kill him even more then the knife in her hand clearly meant to be used to follow out the threat Ushi mentioned.
Albedo and Shalltear at a distance but for all their strength Mirajane's safety and it's importance to me keeps them at bay.

"Dan no Ura - Eight Boat Leap!" Ushi takes a quickdraw stance and then rushes forward in a blur, the rocker of Trinity Raven turning away from Albedo and Shalltear just in time for Ushi's blade to slice through the hair tendrils of hair that had been waving around him and then into his neck, a chocked gurgle is all that escapes him before his head flies into the air and Albedo catches it.
"Well what do you know; we did hear such a melody." With a quick slam of her hands Albedo reduces the head to mush and I rush forward to catch Mirajane as she stumbles.
"Ro..Roxas.."
"Hey I got you."
"I.. again I.. WAHHH!!" Mirajane starts to cry in my arms and I hold her closer; trying to keep my trembling down as I look out to the ocean.
"Albedo, go and find whatever ship that piece of garbage was going to use to flee. If there's anyone aboard it take them out but make sure it can still sail. Shalltear go and find anyone still alive and question them. We need coordinates; don't be afraid to do whatever you need to." I focus back on Mirajane and make sure my voice is soft while the two run off to obey.
"Where are the others Mirajane." Mira sobs one more time but then takes a deep breath and answers
"Natsu got knocked out when I stepped between that fucker and an attack but Happy got him away before he could get killed. Juvia and Lucy were shooed off by Albedo and Shalltear when they saw what happened to me and they were taking down any other Dark Mages that were around."
"Right… Lupus." My first familiar appears by my side and I pass Mirajane over to her.
"Make sure she and everyone else is healed up and ready to go. Have the rest of your sisters makes sure the surviving Dark Mages can't wander off before the Rune Knights get off their asses to clean up." Lupus nods and leads Mirajane back inside while I look out at the sea.
Time to embrace the Fairy Tail legacy and bring that tower crashing down!

It turns out when a Vampire asks you questions after ripping through everyone around you; people are willing to answer them; sadly that doesn't help when they're all so idiotic they don't know the actual coordinates of the island; at the very least everyone else had a reason to know about the tower and it's supposed purpose. Thankfully we had Ikargua and Solution could just lie to her about a quicker end if she spoke so that gave us a place to head.
No one was injured enough that Lupus couldn't quickly fix our injuries and Albedo found and captured the boat saved for the other two members of Trinity Raven. So with a quick change of clothes we soon were ready to ship out; all of us.
"Mirajane you know you don't have to come right." Because we love you but you can't fight back against anyone that's more then cannon fodder and you just went through a traumatic event but I have no idea how to say that tactfully in this situation.
"I know but Erza is my friend, I can't just sit here and .. and let you all go off on your own." I try to find the words I want to say but Natsu interrupts.
"Mirajane… could you actually help here. Can you keep yourself safe." The question is soft, gentle, and clearly not meant to cause any real harm but it hits Mirajane like Natsu slammed his Iron Fist spell into her solar plexus all the same.
Natsu always impressed me in how … friendly and caring he acted towards Elfman and Mirajane; honestly I got the impression he blamed himself as much if not more for what happened to Lisanna as them. So this wasn't trying to hurt her by keeping her away or calling back to when he was the weaker one she denied tagging along. He truly was only thinking about if Mirajane would be safe.
"I… I know I'm not at my best… that I haven't been for years but I can do this. I need to do this." Natsu just looks at her and I think we could see the same determination… I'm half convinced she'll grab another boat and follow us if we don't take her anyway.
"Alright; just please be careful."
"Oh I will be; it's the ones that attacked us that should be worried."

No one said anything after we shipped off between Juvia's own abilities and a little aid from me with Hydrofreeze at times we were moving as fast as the boat could go without falling apart.
"Keep up the great work Juvia! Happy; anything up ahead?"
"NO SIR!!!" Happy yells back down from his spot on top of the mast.
"Alright; lets…
"Master." Albedo cuts me off and I turn around to find her standing there; holding someone by the scruff of their jacket.

Millianna goes pale at that and while I'm angry enough to be tempted but I don't think Erza would be happy if we killed one of her old friends. Leaning down I put my face in front of her's and speak.
"Well first lets see if she has more information on why her little cult wanted Erza and why they think bringing Zeref back to life is in anyway a good idea."
"How.. how do you know Erza?" So that got sent off with a bare minimum of information; not surprising given Jellal can't risk more of them catching on.
"She's my lover and I'm feeling significantly pissed off right now after watching that owl-bastard swallow her so start talking kitty or a dip will be the least of your worries."

Millianna started talking quickly after that; spilling everything she knew from her perspective and what the plan was as she knew it. Which did not leave anyone feeling impressed even if most of us registered we were talking to a slave turned cult member.
"Right so this Jellal guy was the one to tell you about Erza leaving; the one to decide that you all should continue building the freaking tower that was all but literally built out of your blood and suffering, and know he wants to sacrifice Erza to bring back Zeref because it will bring about 'true freedom'." I can't help but summarize because I know I'm looking at it from the perspective of an angry outsider but ….
"That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard." Thank you Natsu!
"Do … do you all even know what Zeref is best known for?" Millianna shakes her head and I sigh; my anger dropping as I realize just how mislead they are. Between their beginnings as slaves and Jellal having practically free reign to manipulate them as he pleases… yeah it would be more then possible to keep them in the dark in this regard.
"Zeref is the death mage; he is infamous for personally killing or crafting beings and tools that have filled countless mass graves. His version of 'true freedom' is probably a silent world of corpses." That seems to hit the cat-girl and Mirajane cuts in.
"And this explains so much about Erza, she's always been so intense about maintaining bonds and just … everything. What do you think really happened?" Mirajane asks me and I focus on Millianna and hold her gaze.
"I think Jellal took advantage of the uprising to take control; I think he made Erza a scapegoat and probably made certain she knew he'd kill this girl and the others if she ever showed back up or said a word about the tower. I think that fear has shaped and haunted her for years and if this doesn't end with that nightmare of a structure ripped apart brick by brick then there's no justice in this world." That resonates with everyone and then the clapping starts and I look to see Shalltear smiling as she claps.
"Oh bravo Master, a wonderful speech and believe me I and the others can't wait to carry out your will in this regard. Now since the little kitty seems to be deep in thought and you all have work to do out here perhaps I can be the one to keep an eye on her while we sail towards the cretins that believed they could hurt one of ours." Well it would keep her under watch and Shalltear really didn't have the skills or the temperament to help us out here.
"That would be a big help; thank you Shalltear." Even as I say that thought I mime a bite and shake my head no; making it clear Millianna isn't food or a potential bride. Shalltear merely giggles in response and hefts the captive catgirl, so out of it she doesn't even notice the tiny vampire picking her up.

"FOR JUSTICE!!!" Even if Natsu hadn't caught the sound of jets coming the screech would have let everyone know exactly who was coming. Fukuro comes down from the sky at high speeds with lasers blasting towards us but a Fire Dragon Roar and some Gaster Blasters counter them and he pulls up to hover above our ship.
"YOU FIENDS!!! YOU STRUCK DOWN MY COMRADES; FOR THEIR SAKE AND THE SAKE OF JUSTICE I SHALL STRIKE YOU DOWN!!!" Well Ikaruga is probably still alive right now at least but that doesn't really matter.
"Open Gate of The Scales; Libra!" Libra bursts into existence and doesn't even need to be told what to do; gravity starting to go haywire around the assassin while Natsu jumps at him; the jets not able to help escape a sudden reversal of gravity that sends him shooting towards the angry dragon slayer
"FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!!" Natsu's wing attack slams into the owl-man. Shooting him down into the deck where he thankfully doesn't break all the way through.
"Th… that is not enough to stop my Justice!!" That gets a laugh out of me.
"Justice; don't make me laugh. You're a killer that works for coin; no not just that; you're a killer that works for a freaking Zeref cult."
"Do not mock my employer; he has quite the vision and his commitment to his justice must be admired. Years of ensuring the weak and the blind did what was needed; ensuring they couldn't be lead astray and that they stuck to their toil. His is a vision that is worth putting it all on the line for; his world will be one of true Justice!!" Okay you know what Jellal; a little impressed that you got the crazy assassins to actually respect if not believe in your insane plan.
"I'm not even going to bother entertaining this lunacy; give that wanna-be rocker my regards in hell." Fukuro bounces up; jets starting to start up once more only for two Gaster Blasters to form right behind him and bite down on the jets; blasting them with their lasers at close range. Fukuro shrieks in pain as the jets detonate right on his back and he flies towards me; Riptide in hand and a quick slice decapitating him. His final look of shock the last face he makes before the momentum carries his body and head out to the sea and the waves created from Juvia's manipulations swallow the corpse.

Fukuro's attack left us on edge but no one else appeared while we sailed forward; either he left on his own after dropping off Erza or Jellal really didn't care what happened. Still we kept sailing on toward the now visible tower; even from the distance the sight of it but me on edge and the others felt it as well.
The Tower Of Heaven: One of Zeref's many experiments to try and bring our pink-headed flame breather back from the dead and one I think he willingly abandoned for whatever reason. The thing just gives me the creeps and honestly I look forward to making it fall.
"Master, Lady Shalltear says the prisoner wants to speak to you." I'm drawn from my observation of the tower by Yuri Alpha.
"Thanks Yuri, are you and your sisters prepared?"
"We are sir; rest assured we will see to it that those that committed this act suffer for it." The scowl on Yuri's face makes me forget she's the nicest of the Pleiades for a second but I can't feel sorry for the soon to be broken or dead cultists.
"Shalltear, you said Millianna has something to say." I call down as I enter the main hold of the ship, not huge but the biggest room and the one Shalltear apparently decided to use. I walk over to where they are; not even questioning the scene before me. It's honestly quite tame considering who was left in charge.
"Ah yes Master, this cute little kitty has something she needs to ask. Don't you." Shalltear smiles as she takes a sip of her tea and pats Millianna on the back.
"Y..Yes Lady Shalltear; please Lord Roxas may this kitten make a request of you." Her eyes go up towards the smirking vampire looking for approval with a blush on her face.

"Right you don't have to call me Lord, Shalltear let her stand and ask whatever she wants to." Shalltear nods and stands up, smoothing her skirt and walking over to my side to leave the stripped down Milliana who goes from all fours to kneeling before me.
"I… I was able to hear all of what Fukuro said." Right, the owl clearly didn't believe in volume control despite being an assassin. "If what he said is true, Jellal.. he lied to us, he made us turn on Erza, became no better then the bastards that enslaved us. We… we helped in a plan to kill Erza because of that bastard!! But I don't … I don't want the others to die so please let me try to talk them down; I … I think I can get our other friends to see reason so please let me." Millianna bows her head to me; her face hidden from view but I can see tears start to slide down her chin.

Well that just tugs at the heartstrings, plus she's a cult kid having her entire worldview shattered so she's holding it together better then I would have expected.
"You were manipulated by someone you trusted and you want to make up for it, besides if you and your friends are important to Erza then you're important to me. So dry those eyes and get ready to help us save her and the others." I lean down and pet her between the kitty ears without thinking but Millianna doesn't seem to mind, sniffling as she pushes further against my hand.
Really hope Shalltear didn't destroy her clothes though because I don't think Erza's other friends will like the picture that paints.

Millianna thankfully still had her clothes and went to get dressed and I stared at Shalltear; the unspoken question in my eyes and Shalltear more then smart enough to read it.
"I'll admit I used a little bit of Charm Species but that was mostly to calm her down. The poor little kitty was getting so worked up that I felt she needed to calm down, get some air, and all that."
"And her clothes?" Because I'm not going to question the seat; it's Shalltear after all.
"I said she needed some air." Shalltear replies with a cheeky smile, clearly angling for a reaction and I roll my eyes and give her a quick smack on the rear.
"Take out any programing you may have 'accidentally' put in and I'll drop it. Erza won't be happy if you mind whammied her friend though." That gets an actual pause from Shalltear, Erza's wrath something even the vampire understood to be dangerous.
"P..perhaps I should double check and also help her get dressed." I leave Shalltear to it and head up, if I see nothing I have plausible deniability. Stepping back up on the deck I see everyone looking tense, Taurus out instead of Libra.
"What I miss?"
"Juvia felt something in the water Roxas-Sama, some mines Juvia believes but those were easy to move but others are larger creatures moving around the ship." That has the Gaster Blaster's drawn and forming a circle around the boat just in time for one of the creatures to leap up at the boat. I get a good look for a few seconds before it's vaporized.
The original cultists had some kind of skinless dog beast from what I could remember; clearly Jellal kept them around and either made, found, or there always was an aquatic variety. Lower limbs fused into a tail but the beast still the same otherwise. Skinless, exposed teeth, bloodlust the only thing in their eyes.
More soon jump out at the ship, Juvia crying out others were trying to attack the bottom but she was easily able to handle those while Natsu, Taurus, and I made sure none landed on the deck. Lucy even got in on the action with her whip.
"Hey Juvia you still able to detect those mines?" Juvia nods and I give her a smirk.
"Think you can send them flying at the tower?" Juvia stares at me for a second and then grins right back showing just how much she embraced the Fairy Tail philosophy of blowing it up. From the sea hands of water rose up, clutching metal spheres that resembled old sea mines I saw in a museum once but with runes carved into their bodies rather then covered in horns. The hands throw the mines towards the tower; most hitting the land around it but some smash into the base and detonate there.
"Alright we've said hello; lets go get Erza back. Natsu from what we've heard the tower is the key to their plans so you know what that means.
"Burn it down!" Natsu yells with flames spewing from his mouth and a wide grin on his face.
"I was thinking smash it but whatever works. Hey Millianna what do your friends look like so we know who to hold back on?" Millianna looks caught off guard when all attention turns to her but starts describing Simon, Sho, and Wally. Soon we stop right before the beach, drop the anchor and we all charge the tower.

The first line of defenses weren't nothing to scoff at, a small army of dark mages, some various tamed monsters and beasts, and a whole lot of cannons.
To a group of pissed off Fairy Tail Members that's nothing, when said group is backed by former members of Nazarick it's less then nothing.
Natsu started us off by leaping into the air and releasing a Roar that swept along their cannons, the armaments melting and the ammunition detonating. Their covering fire taken care of meant it was a clash of forces. Taurus barreling through those that stood in his way and his axe carving through beast and cultist alike.
Albedo wades through the attackers, her own axe in hand. Weapons and spells bounce off her as she tears into any that get close enough.
Shalltear is bouncing around cackling with glee, orb of blood forming behind her as she slices through her prey with her nails.
The Pleiades split up, forming and pincer and hitting the sides of the enemy force. Each one doing less damage then the floor guardians or us but taking attention away from us and removing the ones they fight with ease.
Natsu and I end up in the thick of it side by side. Fire Fists and Fist Projection smashing into faces and ribs and leaving groaning or knocked out bodies behind us.
The girls follow behind; Juvia conserving energy after being our transportation and opening barrage while Lucy and Millianna handle the few cultists that get close to them. Mirajane looking off but I don't have the ability to focus on it when their a horde of enemies to face.
It feels like it lasts for hours but honestly the battle was quick and probably only took fifteen minutes.
"Millianna I didn't see any of your friends did you?"
"No, none of the guys are here." Okay so either Jellal is going to use them like Trinity Raven was in canon, their just randomly scattered around the tower, or maybe just in a different defensive line.
"Natsu can you smell Erza?" Because first thing first is find her and make sure she doesn't get sacrificed.
"It's faint but it's there."
"Okay then we follow the dragon's nose. Get Erza first and then we go from there."

The second defensive point catches us off guard; we go up several floors before finding it set up right before the stairs
"THERE THEY ARE!!! FOR LORD JELLAL!!" Right it looks like Jellal decided that more numbers were needed; before that small army we defeated should have been the majority if not the entirety of his forces. Looks like he decided to expand his operations; if I had to guess it's my fault considering I have a whole fighting force to deploy. This wave isn't just cultist though; Jellal apparently used his council membership as a a way to get a shopping list of dark mages for hire.
No one from canon but in this life I see a lot of faces off wanted posters and several guild marks of smaller dark guilds. Spells fly and the enclosed nature means I'm very glad Juvia threw up a water wall in time. The barrier holds long enough for us to get out of the way of the rest of the attacks and then start to return fire. It's practically a western shootout with both sides ducking behind cover and trying to hit the other side when they reveal themselves. CZ almost managing a smile as she gets to put her skills to use.
It's when Ushi pops out of spirit mode behind them; the sudden appearance catching them off guard and dividing their attention that the stalemate breaks and either the next attacks slam into the dark mages or they get bum rushed up close and personal. They don't go down without a struggle but in the end they do go down.

The next gap has us on edge as we go so long without anyone appearing and no defense's activating; thankfully our numbers allow us to switch off on who has to check the side rooms and what not for any stragglers or surprises but the lack of results just keeps us on edge. That all changes when we hit the chamber where Ikaruga would have dueled Erza; across the room the Block-man Wally, Sho in his dealer outfit, and Simon all stood.
"Millianna what the hell are you doing?" Wally is the first to cry out; arm shifting into a gun while Sho pulls out several cards. "Did these bastards threaten you."
"No; guys we… Jellal was lying to us! Erza never betrayed us; I .. I don't know what happened exactly but Fukuro practically bragged about how we were tricked." Wally's arm lowers, not shifting back but Millianna being the one to say it clearly has a significant effect. Sho however just looks more ready to fight and steps forward.
"Don't fall for their tricks, he.. Jellal wouldn't do that. He's the one who was there for us, the one who…"
"Lied to us." Simon cuts Sho off and plants a hand on his shoulder.
"Millianna is right; I've always know that Jellal was lying to us." The other three look at him in confusion and I note some of the Pleiades interest peak; the drama of it all appealing to them.
"Simon, why didn't you say anything." Wally asks as his arm disperses back to normal.
"Because Jellal would have struck us all down and while he was focused on the tower he didn't have as much time to devote to keeping watch on Erza, I was hoping either she never came back or she would have friends that would be willing to aid her." Sho looks shocked, mouth opening and closing and I step forward.
"Look not having to kick the asses of Erza's friends is nice but where the hell is she."
"Jellal has her up at the throne room with him, I was worried he'd try to kill her immediately but he seems to be waiting for something."
"Very good Simon, I was wondering when you'd try to stab me in the back. I suppose I have to give you credit for doing so at the most dangerous moment of my plan. Still it's not enough; my vision will be realized; Zeref will return and a new age of freedom will be upon us." Jellal's voice rings out and I can feel the vein on my forehead start to pule
"Or you surrender and you get to get dragged out of here rather then put in the ground." I call out and all I get is a cackle in response. Yeah I wasn't expecting anything different but offer made so he can't complain later when I ignore any attempts to surrender.
"Ah such a joker you are, You were quite the conundrum Roxas. You're summons meant I had to prepare for more forces that might follow and I'll admit I didn't think the men I had were enough but then I remembered I'm not the only one that sees the beauty of Zeref's return and they were quite willing to aid me." The something starts to bang on the large doors behind the formers slaves and I Iash out with Vinewhip to pull them back before the doors are sent flying off their hinges.
"HAHAHAHAHA!!! FEAST YOUR EYES ON THIS WARRIOR OF ZEREF! DIE SO THAT YOUR BLOOD CAN WATER THE STEPS GROUNDS OF HIS RESURRECTION!!" A massive beast runs in; body covered in machinary and armor. Bloodlust in it's eyes and drooling with hunger as it stomps its way inside and branded into the armor on it's thigh is another guild symbol.

"Fuck! Mira get Erza's friends back. Natsu.."
"WAY AHEAD OF YOU!!" Natsu steps forward and Roars at the beast who stands there and just lets the flames engulf it; then the laughter starts and I focus back on Mira.
"Right Mira you take the Pleiades and Erza's friends and fall back to do some damage to the tower. The rest of us will…"
"Hey we can .." I cut Millianna off with a quick glare and point at the creature that has grown bored with letting Natsu heat it up and started moving forward again.
"You are in no way strong enough to help with that THING!! So rather then break Erza's heart with you dying to that thing you're going to stand back and let us handle it." I turn back to face the thing; Albedo having already moved forward and gotten in a clash with the monster, axe meeting the built in weapon on it's armor in a clash that shakes the room and sees sparks fly. Juvia's water blades being ignored by the demon as it focuses on the succubus in front of it.
"No…" Mirajane walks by me and Lucy calls out to her but she ignores us all as she marches forward, magical pressure forming around her and her hair begins to float.
"No more running, no more cowering, no more LOSING PEOPLE!!!" Beside me Natsu grins at the sight of an eruption of black energy forming around Mirajane and I'm pretty sure the same grin is on my face.
"Oh this guy is screwed now." Natsu states with utmost confidence as the energy disperses.

As the Pleiades pull back with Erza's friends the rest of us start fighting. Lucy directing Taurus to attack.
"LET'S SEE WHAT YOU GOT!! MOOO!!!!" What he's got is catching Taurus's ax by the blade.
"FIRE DRAGON'S WING ATTACK!"
"DARKNESS STREAM!" Natsu and Mirajane come at the demon from above launching attacks at it's back. Faster then you'd think a creature of it's size should move it side steps the blast of dark energy and throws Taurus into the way of Natsu's attack. The Dragon Slayer canceling his attack in time to not cook the cow but getting thrown back into a wall from the impact.
"WATER WHIP!!
"LOCK DOWN!" Juvia focuses on one whip, increasing the cutting power she can but behind the fluid attack while Chains and Shackles erupt from the ground to wrap around the creature's limbs. The whip hits the creature's face and leaves a scratch that starts to bleed black blood and it growls, lifting it's canon arm towards us.
"Juvia move!" We're already starting to move when Shalltear moves in and slams her fist into the cannon; forcing it up making the blast shoot out of the wall. The demon growls and lashes out with a kick, chains breaking with ease and Shalltear is sent back. Mirajane dives in from above, fist shrouded in darkness, and slams it into the back of the opponents skull. That gets the monster to stumble forward a few steps but it still manages to lash out and grab the She-Devil by the leg and swings her around to throw her. She hits the ground near me but easily rises up.
