{Class 34, First Floor, Hogwarts}
"Prof. Vector, do you have some time?" I asked once class had ended. Since it was the last class of the day, everyone rushed back to their dormitories. Only the Gryffindors hung back as a symbolic gesture.
I motioned for Dean and the others to go, as Hermione and I approached the professor, each with our own questions about today's lecture.
"Of course, Mr. Potter, Miss Granger, I could see that you have questions." Prof. Vector nodded at us to go on.
"Yes, Professor. I'm sorry, but the way you tried to explain how spells are cast to us... Most of it was focused on how we use wands as a tool to cast magic. What I don't understand is how wand gestures work. You said that once someone becomes familiar with a spell, they can sometimes use it with fewer wand movements or even through silent casting."
I continued to explain my problem with her analogy, "What I don't understand is that whenever I cast a spell, all I can sense is a rush of warmth leaving my body into my wand. How am I supposed to get familiar with spells when every spell feels the same?"
Prof. Vector nodded at my analogy. "Quite a lot of muggleborn students reach the same conclusion, but they all fail to take into account a crucial element in spellcasting." She said, and, seeing my confused expression, explained, "It's your wand, Mr. Potter."
"My wand?" I questioned as I brought it up.
"Yes, you are trying to approach this problem as a mathematical one, but you are simply treating your wand as a tool that just takes wand movements and incantations and input and produces magic as output." She explained. The way she said it made it pretty clear that she has also had a Muggle upbringing.
"But your wand is way more than that, although you might not be able to tell since you have only used your wand to cast spells. It is like an extension of your own magic. A wand chooses a wizard, and not the other way around. So as you cast more spells, the wand becomes familiar with them. Though it is not entirely the result of your wand getting familiar with your magic and your intent that makes it easier to cast spells, it is one of the important ones." Prof. Vector explained.
'Right, I had forgotten about that, wizards like Lucius were reluctant to give their wand to Voldy to kill Harry. Maybe some of that was related to the fear that their wand wouldn't listen to their intent when and if they got it back.' I thought, as countless times when the relationship between a wand and wizard was emphasized in canon.
"So if someday by mistake I have to get a new wand, I would lose all my progress?" Hermione asked in concern.
"Not exactly. Even if your wand suffers irreparable damage, a decent wandmaker could repurpose its core to recreate it to its original specifications. If even the core is damaged, you would have to select a new wand that matches your magic, and although you might lose some progress and face some unfamiliarity because of a new wand, you would grow into it with time." Prof. Vector explained.
"Yes, thank you, Professor," I replied as I nodded in thanks for her explanation.
"Don't try to rush ahead for the answers, Mr. Potter, Miss Granger. Even the greatest scholars don't have all the answers about how magic exactly works. It is an ever-growing field where research from centuries ago is continuously being built upon and used to rediscover and reinvent magic." Prof. Vector finally gave us a smile as both Hermione nodded and we began walking away.
We were almost at the door when I whispered to Hermione, "You go ahead, I need to ask Prof. Vector about something I found in Diagon Alley."
Ignoring Hermione's confused expression, I walked over toward Prof. Vector, who looked up from the register, sensing my approach.
"Anything else, Mr. Potter?" She asked.
"Yes, Professor." I nodded and sneaked a glance at Hermione, who watched me as I slid off the ring Adorabella had given me. Since I was so unfamiliar with magic, I really needed someone to check it for me. Given her strict nature, I hoped Prof. Vector might know if it had something that shouldn't be there and could harm me.
'Plus, I have a class with her, and she is easier to approach compared to Prof. Babbling, who is the current runes professor.' I thought as I placed the ring on the table.
"Well, you see, someone gave me this ring over the summer, and I kind of accepted it without actually knowing everything about it. Do you know if it is harmful or anything?" I asked with a sheepish expression. It was not my finest moment, but I kinda was thinking with my dick when Adora explained that she would be able to feel me fuck her every time I fuck someone when I had that thing on.
"The ring of shared senses," Prof. Vector said as she lifted it and started moving her wand around it in different patterns. I counted at least a dozen different spells colliding with the ring.
"A wonderful invention created by Lady Hufflepuff herself. She wanted more healers to sense how she used various healing charms to create more mediwitches in a time ravaged by war." She replied as she placed her wand down on the table and looked at me, "Though it has now been reinvented for an entirely different purpose."
I felt a rush of heat flushing down my cheeks as I looked into her stern grey eyes. "It's safe, Mr. Potter, free of any tracking or malicious charms and runes. Though I would advise you to be careful with the group of ladies who are quite famous for using these."
"Yes, Professor," I nodded as I took the ring back and bowed in thanks, partly to hide my flush as I walked away. I hoped to hide from her gaze, and thankfully she didn't say anything, though Hermione gave me a curious look as I joined her, blushing.
"What's that ring?" She asked curiously.
"Nothing, just some trinket I found in Diagon Alley. I was just asking Prof. to make sure it was safe." I added, mixing truths with lies.
"So you put a magical ring on your finger without knowing it was safe?" Hermione gave me an incredulous look, then she shook her head in disappointment.
"Well yeah... pretty much." I shrugged.
We walked in silence for a little bit before she asked, "Want to check out the Library?"
"I thought you'd never ask." I grinned, thankful to be off that topic, and pretty excited to get to the library too.

{Hermione's POV}
"See you in the morning, Harry." Hermione waved at Harry as he started down the stairs, while she dragged her overflowing schoolbag of newly borrowed books into her dorm.
Today has been a load of fun. Even though most classes started out basic, the professors covered so much that wasn't in the books. And also, there was the elephant in the room.
Her legs almost buckled as she reached her floor. The dull, sweet ache in her core was becoming hard to ignore, especially after spending the whole evening with Harry scouring the library for the reference books she had read about over the summer.
A blush overtook her face as she tried to control her emotions. Thinking of Harry made her think of their little escapade this afternoon. Flashbacks of the pain mixed with so much pleasure that her mind had remained blank for several minutes after the ordeal. Harry had to help her walk a little, as her body had twitched from the aftershocks of her orgasms.
'If I had known it was so fun, I would have done it ages ago over the summer,' She thought, but then again she knew it was going to be filled with pleasure. She had watched how Mum's face had distorted into pleasure as Harry pounded into her from behind.
'Did I make those kinds of faces today?' She thought as she walked into her dorm and found Parvati and Lavender already chattering on about something.
Both of their eyes locked onto me. I had avoided them all day, but I knew the interrogation was coming, especially since they had seen Harry help me back to the dorm.
"You struggled to take him inside, didn't you?" Lavender spoke with a knowing grin. "Trust me, I had trouble walking in the morning too."
Her heart sank at Lavender's words. Did they have sex in the morning? Was she late? She had the advantage; she should have done it over the summer. Regret filled her stomach along with a strange bout of arousal as she asked, "Did you have sex with Harry?"
"Sex? No?" Lavender replied as Hermione looked at her, "His massive dick tore through my asshole, though, reshaped my insides to its liking... Trust me, I have not taken even a dildo that big up there." Lavender shook her head and gestured, describing Harry's size to Parvati with surprising accuracy.
"That's not fair, you guys. You both got a taste while leaving me behind," the brown-skinned brunette pouted.
"Well, you can sneak into his bed later today," Lavender offered, turning to Hermione. "I don't mind sharing him, do you, Hermione?"
'Sharing? Harry?' Hermione thought, lost in thought, before she shook her head quickly at her new roommates. Slightly confused and aroused by the thought of Harry using her new friends to get off.
"See, Hermione doesn't mind. Though you need to practice if you want to make a good first impression. You need to get ready for his size..." Lavender started imparting her knowledge as Hermione walked over to her bed and collapsed onto it, clenching her thighs as her core heated up.
'Why am I getting so aroused at the thought of Harry with someone else?'
