As soon as Leon appeared on the third floor, he immediately felt a sharp sensation on the back of his head.

"Step back." Leon spoke as he pushed Fruela aside and a volley of very sharp needles passed from the same spot that they just landed on.
*Tink-Tink-Tink-Tink*
All the needles hitted the front wall and broke on contact. But as soon as they broke, a green liquid flowed out of them.
"What the fuck was that ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.
*Swish*
Suddenly, Elis appeared in front of Leon.
"Master... These are the traps that you ordered me and Sir Rees to set up." She explained.
"Why are they going off on me, Elis? I am the dungeon master." Leon asked.
"These traps are set to go off as soon as anything enters inside the room, Master.
Since they are still in testing, they might've triggered even by your presence. I will immediately disable them, Master." Elsi spoke as she placed her hand on the ground and disabled all the traps.
"What are the other traps in this room ?" Leon asked.
"As soon as the target enters inside the room and steps on any of those starting three stone slides, this trap will be triggered." Elis spoke as she pointed towards the room's entrance.
*Slide*
One of the three tiles near the entering area, went inside the ground and suddenly, a big blade that was hidden in the gate's frame dropped down with an extreme speed.
*THUD*
"That's leathal for enemies who aren't using any defensive spells." Leon spoke with an amused smile.
"There is one near that wall as well master... If you can just step aside." Elis spoke as she looked at Leon.
"What is it?" Leon asked with a curious expression.
"It's one of the most extreme traps we have placed on this floor, Master." Elis replied .
"Activate the trap, I want to see if I can survive it." Leon spoke as he looked at Elis.
"As you command Master." Elis spoke as she immediately raised her hand and a dim blue light appeared on the other side of the room.
He noticed a magic enchanted coming towards him with full speed but it wasn't fast enough to hit Leon.
*Step*
He just simply stepped aside and dodged it with ease.
"Was that it ?" Leon asked with a confused expression as he turned to look at Elis.
But as soon as he turned, he noticed that the same arrow is coming at him from the back this time.
Leon took a step back once again and dodged the arrow but as soon as he stepped back... A tile under his leg slided down.
He immediately looked around and noticed that nothing had happened.
"Will it activate once I take my leg off of this stone tile ?" Leon asked with a confused expression as he looked at Elis.
"No master... It's already activated." Elis replied as she looked at the left wall of the room.
Leon and Fruela also turned to the left and noticed that the wall that was mounted over the wall was coming closer to them very fast.
"This-" Before Leon could've completed his sentence, both of the room's side walls closed in on him with full speed and stopped just inches away from his shoulders.
"Obviously if this was an enemy... He would've been already dead, Master." Elis replied as she flicked her hand and both of the walls immediately started moving back to their original positions.
"Walls that can move really fast and easily crush the enemies. That's a good one." Leon replied.
"I will evolve soon master... Once I do, we will be able to install more traps and you will also gain a significantly higher level of power inside the dungeon." Elis spoke as she looked at Leon.
"Well then... Now... I have some work to do, so we will be leaving for now." Leon spoke as he looked at Elis.
"I will be awaiting your return, Master." Elis spoke as she immediately bowed down to him.
"Take me out of the dungeon." Leon spoke as he touched Fruela's shoulder and both of them disappeared immediately.

Outside the dungeon, even though it was afternoon... The weather was dark and snow was falling heavily.

Leon and Fruela appeared outside the dungeon and they were knee-deep buried in the snow.
"This weather." Leon spoke as he immediately walked out of the snow. Fruela did the same and both of them started walking towards the kingdom.
Although there were some carriages still running in the harsh weather, but most of them were private and they had to walk all the way to the kingdom.
After entering inside the kingdom, Leon noticed that all the shops were closed and no one was in the market.
"Hmm... The market isn't open in the afternoon ? That's odd." Leon thought with a confused expression as he looked around and noticed an old man walking towards the frozen fountain with two candles in his hand.
"Umm... Excuse me ?" Leon asked as he immediately walked upto him.
"Hmm...?" The old man looked at Leon with a confused expression.
"Why is the market closed ?" Leon asked.
"Don't you know? Most of our soldiers have died on the Truvale Checkpost yesterday, due to a monster wave.
Two of my sons were there... I am going to light candles for them at the fountain." The old man spoke as he looked at Leon and moved forward.
'A monster wave?
Well it's a magical world... I guess anything can happen. But... Dusk said that most of the monsters go into hiding when winter arrives.
Then how come a monster wave attack us and how big was it that killed most of the soldiers ?' Leon thought with a confused expression.
"Master... Should we go ?" Fruela asked with a confused expression as she looked at Leon.
"Yes." Leon replied as he started walking towards the noble street.
'I should ask Justin about this... He should be able to tell me something.' Leon thought with a neutral expression.

After walking for about ten minutes, both of them reached near the entrance of the noble streets.
Fruela immediately disappeared and Leon walked upto the gates.
"Kid you should really wear something heavy over those clothes. The weather is getting really cold these days." One of the guard spoke as he looked at Leon and opened the gates.
"Thanks for the concern. I will buy something to wear over it." Leon replied with a neutral expression.
"Good for you." The guard replied.

Leon entered inside and Fruela re-appeared behind him just like a shadow.
"Is that stealth ?" Leon asked with a confused expression as he looked at Fruela.
"Shadow Walking, Master. Kind of a stealth skill." She replied.
"Good." Leon replied.

After walking for about five minutes, Both of them reached in front of the weaver household.
Fruela disappeared once again and only re-appeared when Leon had entered inside the house from the backdoor.

As soon as he entered inside the house... He noticed that the Chefs in the kitchen looked very scared and they were working really fast.
'What the hell happened to them ?' Leon thought with a confused expression.
Suddenly Leon noticed something over the neck of a maid, he slowly walked upto her from behind and gave it a closer look.
The thing in her neck was none other than a slave collar.
"What..." Leon spoke in a low voice and the maid got scared immediately.
"N-No, N-No... Please don't hurt me." She shouted loudly dropping the pot of hot soup on the floor.

"Hey, Hey, Hey... Calm down. Who did this to-" Before Leon could've completed his sentence, Adeline walked into the kitchen with a serious expression on her face.
"Leon Luster... You are coming with me. Now." She spoke in a loud and serious tone.
As soon as Leon heard this a serious expression appeared over his face.
"Yes." He replied as he started walking towards Adeline.
As soon as they get out of the kitchen, Adeline looked both sides in the corridor then turned around to look at Leon.
"Things are fucked up, Leon." Adeline spoke with a worried expression.
"Okay... I think I might have a vague idea of what happened.
Justin's mother forced all the servants to wear slave collars, so that she can prevent the news from leaking outside, right ?" Leon asked with a calm expression.
"She gave them a choice... Either leave or stay alive while wearing the collars. She promised that there will be no other limitations but they will be prohibited from saying a word about what they saw today and their families will stay healthy too." Adeline explained as she looked at Leon.
"She is given hidden threats in not a very hidden way, huh ?" Leon asked as a smile appeared over his face.
"What are you smiling about ? These people haven't gone home for the last twenty four hours.
They have to leave sometime, don't they? And once they do, their families will ask why they have a fucking slave collar in their necks.
If questions started to rise... I am pretty sure she will get them all and I mean their families as well, killed." Adeline spoke with a serious expression.

Justin didn't reply and continued to stare at her with a neutral expression.
"Switch sides..." Leon spoke as he looked at Althea.
"What ?" Althea asked with a confused expression.
"Justin will become the successor of this house with or without your support but if you take his side right now.
You can announce the alliance to your brother's house once he becomes the leader, I don't care about that." Leon spoke as he looked at Althea.
"Jamie will kill him once he comes home." Althea spoke with a serious expression as she looked at Leon.

A man in his thirties with long red hairs to his shoulder, fair skin tone, a pair of glasses on his eyes and a shining sword in his hand, entered inside the house.
He was very furious and emitted a very powerful aura from his body.
"Jamie... S-Son, wait... Don't do something rash. I am coming down." Althea spoke with a worried expression as she immediately started running towards the stairs but as soon as she noticed Leon standing on the other side of the corridor, a disgusted expression appeared over her face.

"What are you doing here, Jamie ? And why are you holding a sword in your hand ?" Gregory asked with a serious expression as he looked at Jamie.
"Father. I have been betrayed Emilia and I am going to kill that bitch today." Jamie spoke as he immediately started walking towards the stairs but before he could've placed his foot on the first stair, a deadly aura burst out from Gregory's body.

This old man is not a normal guy.' Leon thought as he immediately used his skill on him.

In just a minute, Jim, Jamie, Althea, Justin and Leon all were standing in front of Gregory.

Jim was looking at the ground with a very serious and scared expression on his face.
Sweat can be seen dropping down from his forehead.

For the next ten minutes, Althea explained everything that had happened in the past four days.
"So your wife cheated on you with Jim ? Is that right Jamie ?" Gregory asked as he looked at Jamie.
"Yes, Father." Jamie replied with an angry expression as he looked at Jim.
But, Jim was too nervous and scared to look at any of them.
"Very well... Jim, Do you accept your mistake ?" Gregory asked as he looked at Jim.

"Good... Jim weaver. You are no longer a part of the weaver household and you will get out of this house right now.

Jim fell down to his knees and started crying as he grabbed the carpet tightly.
'Phew... Now if Justin executes the next phase of the plan. This will be over fast.' Leon thought as he looked at Jim with a neutral expression.

Since you have already kicked out second brother, third brother is also not eligible and I don't want to become the family head.
So, that only leaves you with one choice and that is Jamie." Justin replied with a neutral expression.
"What makes you think, I won't make you the Family head just because you don't want to ?" Gregory asked as he looked at Justin with a smile.

"My father will make me the leader of this house on the first day of upcoming spring about one and a half month from now on, Mr. Leon.

'Hah... He still can't understand that I only made him the leader of this house for my own profit.
Well, whatever.' Leon thought with a neutral expression as he nodded his head and started to leave but suddenly he remembered something.
"Hey Justin... Do you know something about the incident that happened on the truvale checkpost a while ago ?" Leon asked as he looked at Justin.
"Truvale Checkpost ? Oh you mean the mass murder of the soldiers by some unknown entity." Justin replied.
"Unknown entity ? What do you mean by that ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.
"Oh you see... The Royal family has covered that incident by saying that it was monster wave that killed all of them but in one of the letters that I read somedays ago, my father has written that the mass murder of those soldiers was done by an unknown identity." Justin explained.
"An unknown entity huh ? Do you know something about this entity ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.
"Unfortunately not, Sir Leon. But maybe the Royal Family knows something about it." Justin replied with a neutral expression.
"Fine... I will see you on the first day of spring. Alive, I hope." Leon replied with a neutral expression as he left the room after that.

Leon went to the kitchen and noticed Adeline taking off the the collars from the servant's necks.
"Tch... Tch." Leon let out a small voice from his voice.
Adeline immediately turned around and noticed Leon standing outside the kitchen.
"Wait a second... I will be back." Adeline spoke as she immediately walked outside the kitchen.
"What happened ?" Adeline asked with a confused expression.
"Keep an eye on Justin until spring comes." Leon spoke with a serious expression.
"What ? Why ?" Adeline asked with a confused expression.
"I will tell you later." Leon spoke as he left through the kitchen's backdoor.

After stepping out of the house, Leon turned toward the front gate—just in time to see Emilia exiting through it.
"Don't you dare show your filthy face near this house or anywhere in this district again, you bitch!" Jamie's voice thundered as he slammed the gate shut behind her.
"Madam Emilia." Romas quickly bowed with respect.
"You don't have to do that anymore, Romas," Emilia replied with a soft smile. "I'm no longer a noble woman."
With quiet grace, she stepped away from the mansion's gates and spotted Leon waiting nearby, a calm smile playing on his lips.
"Hello." Leon spoke with a smirk.
"Hello, Mr. Leon," she greeted, matching his expression.
Leon's eyes flicked across her face. "No bruises. So I'm guessing your husband didn't try to force you into anything huh ?"
Emilia chuckled. "Oh no, quite the opposite. The moment I told him I'd expose his little affair on the border—with that Elf bitch—he started begging. Said he'd do anything to keep my mouth shut."
Leon raised an eyebrow. "Elf bitch?"
She waved it off casually. "It's a long story, will tell you later. And it's getting really cold out here. Where's that place you were talking about ?"
"Come on," Leon said simply, turning as the two of them began walking toward the wagon station.
Unseen, Fruela followed them from a distance, completely concealed in the falling snow.
"Don't you feel cold ? You are wearing such thin clothes." Emilia asked with a confused expression as she looked at Leon.
"A little bit." Leon replied with a smile.

After walking for about ten minutes, three of them finally reached the wagon station.
Despite the heavy snowfall, a few wagons were still making their rounds through the rough weather. Leon and Emilia climbed into one, while Fruela silently perched atop the wagon roof.
"Vernon Village," Leon told the driver.
"Two coppers each, it's bad weather man. So the rates are double." the man said, glancing over his shoulder.
Leon nodded with a neutral expression . "Okay, I will pay it, since you have already bargained so much from both the sides by yourself."
"Very well. Let's go."
The driver cracked the reins, and the horses slowly began trudging through the snow-covered path.
"You live in Vernon Village? Isn't that—" Before Emilia could finish, Leon pulled a handkerchief from his coat and held it out to her.
"Cover your eyes." Leon spoke.
Emilia blinked. "Why ?"
"I have trust issues." Leon replied immediately.
"...Okay." Though puzzled, she didn't argue. She took the handkerchief and tied it around her eyes.
Thirty minutes later, the wagon pulled up to the north edge of Vinceral Forest.
"We'll get off here," Leon said as he looked at the wagon driver.
The driver stared at him, baffled. "Here ? In the middle of nowhere ?"
"You ask too many questions. Here is your money." Leon dropped six copper coins into the man's hand and hopped off the wagon.
The driver stared at the coins. "Wait, aren't they only two people? Why six coppers...? Maybe he saw how hard I was working, What a generous guy," he muttered as he turned the wagon around.
Fruela silently leapt down from the wagon's top and rejoined them without a sound.

"Are we... inside Vinceral Forest?" Emilia asked softly, still blindfolded. "I can smell some familiar herbs."
"Yes," Leon replied calmly as the trio continued through the snow-covered woods.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the base of a massive oak tree.
Leon walked up to where the dungeon gate was hidden beneath the snow. He lifted his leg and drove his foot downward with full force, expecting to hit the familiar stone staircase. But what he struck wasn't stone—it was metal.
*Thud!*
"Ouch?" Leon quickly pulling his foot back. A metallic clink echoed from beneath the snow.
"Is everything alright?" Emilia asked, her voice laced with concern.
"Yeah... everything's fine." Leon crouched and brushed aside the snow. His eyes narrowed at what he saw—metal. Two reinforced gates now covered the dungeon's entrance.
*Grrrrrrrrrrrrr...*
Suddenly, the metallic gates groaned and began to open on their own, pushing the snow aside with mechanical ease.
Leon stared in stunned silence as the entrance widened before him.
"What happen...?" he whispered, eyes locked on the now-transformed dungeon entrance. It was no longer the same passage he had left just hours ago—it had doubled in size and was fortified like never before.
"Come on." Leon spoke as he looked at them.
Fruela guided Emilia to the dungeon's entrance and all three of them entered inside the dungeon.
*GRRRRRRRRRR*
As soon as they were inside, The gates got closed on their own.
*Boop-Boop-Boop-Boop*
Torches mounted on the walls lit up on their own.
"Can I take off my blindfold now ? It feels so warm. We are there right ?" Emilia asked with a smile.
"Yeah... Sure." Leon replied as he continued to observe the dungeon with a surprised expression.
*Blink-Blink*
"Wow... What is this place ?" Emilia asked with a surprised expression as she looked back and noticed the metallic gates.
*Swish*
"I greet my master." Suddenly, A figure made out of blue Aura appeared in front of Leon.
She was none other than Elis herself but her body looked really different. She now looked very similar to an 18 year old girl.
Without wasting another second, Leon used his skill on her.
