Hola, mi amigo.
Como estas?
————————————————————
Most Trainers, whether it be the Hoenn Region or some places like the Kanto and Johto Regions, don't know this yet, but there is actually a further evolution of Dusclops, however to achieve this new form, they require an evolution item called the Reaper Cloth, a rare piece with a very high price.
After evolution, it's said that Dusknoir will be able go suck the souls that have nowhere to go into its body and take them to the spirit world to rest.
Not to mention anything else about its power, just getting it would take a lot of effort for any Trainer. To obtain this evolutionary item in the real world, you would need to find it, or buy it with a very high price tag, or you can ask a few Ghost-type Pokémon's to look for it since it is obvious that most of it can only be found in the spiritual world.
But there was no need to worry about such things for Ash, he can just buy it from his system store when he feels like his Dusclops is ready to evolve, and it will definitely be a top-grade item.
"Alright then, what will Morrison bring out to be his second Pokémon?" The commentator knows of Ash's strength to a larger extent and also knew that he was the favorite to win this battle and tournament, but he, along with many others, were still very much looking forward to this battle.
Seeing Ash's Dusclops mercilessly knocking his Girafarig to the ground, Morrison was very shocked by how quick the battle was. However, after he took back his Girafarig that had lost its fighting ability, he still could not make up his mind to challenge Ash like the way he truly wanted.
He closed his eyes, not only did he not send out his next Pokémon, he also didn't even move a single muscle.
"Trainer Morrison, hurry up and bring out the Pokémon! You have limited time, please remember this!" The referee began to urge Morrison to the best of his experience. According to the rules of the tournament, if a Trainer fails to send out the Pokémon after a certain time frame, they will be deemed to have lost the will to fight and that will automatically count as a defeat.
That would mean Ash will pretty much enter the third round of the tournament without having to show off his prowess.
"Trainer Morrison has not moved or taken any action to continue this battle! If he fails to send out his next Pokémon in the next 10 seconds, he will be deemed to have forfeited, and Ash will win the battle!" This is the second urging from the commentator!
Even after his words and the words of much of the audience fell, Morrison still made no move to continue this battle.
When the timer ended, the referee said loudly,
"Trainer Morrison has lost his will to fight, so the win—!"
"Please wait a moment!" Ash interrupted the referee at the last second and looked at Morrison, "Morrison, you finally participated in the tournament you were looking forward to so much, are you really going to lose like this? Without a proper fight when you promised us a fight to remember by?"
"I know, I don't want to hear your nagging!" Despite Morrison's sudden outburst, he did finally say something through his gritted teeth and throw out the second Poké Ball.
This time he sent out his Growlithe, though seemingly lacking compared to Ash's own Growlithe from the moment they met, but judging from his performance in the previous battles, it was still quite a capable Pokémon. It also had a personality that seemingly went well with Morrison's brash style.
The battle could finally continue after Ash nodded to the referee, and so Ash launched an attack without mercy, "Shadow Punch!"
Dusclops can learn many Punch-like attacks because of the ways its hands move, so Ash decided why not use this ability to the extreme and make his Dusclops into a mixed attacker. Dusclops made a fist with one hand and swayed to the side of Growlithe in its own unique rhythm; though the attack was a single punch, it again looked to be multiple punches.
"Growlithe, get out of the way!"
Morrison finally gave his first order of the battle, but there was no way to avoid the Shadow Punch when it was so close. Growlithe was hit and smashed against one of the icicles.
Looking at Growlithe's miserable appearance, Morrison was finally moved to do something.
However, Ash was out of mercy and the attacks did not stop at all. He said he will go all out, so obviously Dusclops followed him wholeheartedly, "Confuse Ray; Shadow Punch!"
"Ash… his aura is so terrifying…" May looked at her boyfriend's posture and couldn't help but murmured. She couldn't help but think of those times when Ash looked like this, especially when he was training his close combatant Vigoroth.
There were no unnecessary words between them from the beginning in battles, only attacks, but Vigoroth just understood Ash's heart without him having to spend time like the rest of his Pokémon's to understand his commands by simply listening to his tone. It didn't get angry at all because of messing things up, but realized its mistake and continued to learn through their bond.
"Yeah," Winona nodded from next to her. "Even though it hasn't been that long since our Gym Battle, his aura has managed to change so much. It's hard to imagine him in a few more years."
She couldn't help but smile at her lover's future, the strength he'll have, and the strength that she and the other girls have to achieve to be able to stand next to him.
Max looked at the Confuse Ray into Shadow Punch and said in a somewhat traumatic daze, "Sis, that's the iron fist of love! Whatever big brother wants to say, it's all in that damn fist."
Hearing this, Molly, who was sitting in Delia's arms, covered her mouth and giggled, "It seems you finally understand, lil bro."
"Growlithe lost the ability to fight, Dusclops wins this battle!" After the third Shadow Punch, Morrison's second Pokémon lost their ability to fight and fell to the ground.
Ash didn't say anything else, just stared at Morrison along with Dusclops, its scarlet eye glimmering with mischief.
"Ahhh! I'm such a big, fat idiot!"
After taking back Growlithe, Morrison suddenly looked up to the sky and shouted, and then said, "Okay, I want you to see my true power!"
Seeing this, Ash nodded a little, but then reached back to take his Dusclops back inside of its Poké Ball.
"Finally, it looks like Morrison is actually going to battle now!" Everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Morrison's condition returning back to normal.
"Big bros iron fist of lov—guidance is so powerful!" Max covered his head and laughed bitterly. This is how he was taught by Ash, punch by punch, until his brain had to be rewired to think differently.
Gary snorted, somewhat acknowledging Morrison, but still paying attention to the battle with eyes akin to a Fearow.
"Alright, come on, Swampert!" Morrison regrouped and sent out a stronger Pokémon. Obviously this one is the Royal Starter Pokémon he received and also his Ace, and it is also very beneficial in this ice arena.
Ash already knew the composition of Morrison's team pretty well, so he prepared a gift for this Swampert.
"Stand by for battle, Sceptile!"
Since Morrison sent out his Ace Pokémon, a member of the Hoenn Region Royal Starters, Ash believed that it's only natural for a battle between two of the three to happen.
In a now pretty famous battle, he used his Venusaur to forcefully drag Gary's Ace Blastoise to a serious injury without it needing to go all out, and later allowing the two Blastoise to end the fateful battle between members of the same species.
The dual Ground-type and Water-type Swampert has only one weakness, and that is Grass-type.
Since he already talked about the battle he's gonna use his own Swampert and Blazeiken for, and with the advantage in front of him, it was pretty much an easy decision on what Pokémon he was gonna use.
Seeing this scene, both Gary smirked bitterly, "Ash is really merciless today…"
Amongst the people in the audience, in the stadium and those who are watching from LIVE television, Tyson was the most shocked.
The Royal Starter Pokémon he chose at the beginning of his journey was a Treecko, which he had now trained into his Ace Sceptile.
But when he compares the two in his head, he can't help but feel the difference in the size and aura radiating off of Ash's Sceptile and his own Sceptile. He can't put what kind of aura he was feeling into words, but it was like seeing a sword getting ready to cut down its obstacles.
"Swampert, use Focus Punch!"
Seeing this skill being used, Ash really couldn't help but complain.
Although this skill was designed to be very strong, it can be easily interrupted, and so easily at that. Morrison's fighting style is very simple and straightforward, it relies on the basic strengths to dominate the opponent, and that unfortunately made it so that most of the time he only goes and pursues the relatively powerful skills. Not ever stopping to care about the ratio of offensive, defensive, and status related skills.
Ash would not spoil him, "Leaf Blade!"
The sharp leaf on Sceptile's right arm began to glow and protrude, with Sceptile's aura becoming even more terrifying.
Facing Swampert's kinda slow shining fist, Sceptile held what looked to be a shortsword in his arm but made no move to dodge it, and instead closed its eyes. He trained with Scizor for a while and already understood how to better handle the power and distribution of his cutting attacks.
Just as Swampert came even closer, Sceptile opened his eyes suddenly, a flash of light flashed, and Sceptile turned around and walked back towards Ash, as if he quit this battle.
Swampert seemed to freeze at that moment, closed its eyes, and lost his ability to fight and fell on the ice.
"Something happened! Rewind! Zoom! Enhance! Ash's Sceptile used Leaf Blade to defeat Swampert in a flash! Faster than the human eye can follow!" The commentator was naturally a "little" stunned.
He, along with the others, had to watch the slow-motion replay a few times on the stadium's large screen to finally see what Sceptile did.
At this time, Morrison had lost three of his Pokémon, meaning the battle entered halftime.
However, while waiting, Morrison came to Ash and said, "Ash, I'm here to apologize to you!"
"In the past, I always thought that fighting would be fun as long as I won and had fun, and I would be very unhappy if I lost. But honestly, I think it would be good if I had fun battling with Pokémon without having to worry about such things!"
"However, after I won a few battles in my first major tournament, I unconsciously wanted to win the next one as well, no matter what. But since I found out that you were my opponent, I didn't know what to do. I knew all was for nothing, I wasn't strong enough to beat you."
"Ash, I understand. Since I made a promise to go all out against you, I can't break it! Even if I know what my limits are!"
Morrison has finally made up his mind on what kind of Trainer he wants to be, and he wants to have a real battle with Ash that he won't regret later.
He wants not only Ash, but everyone else to see the new him.
The new Morrison!
