"KREEEEE!"
The demonic dolphin let out a sharp, piercing screech the moment it spotted Leyvi riding atop Mr. Bison's head. Its deep red eyes glowed even brighter with intense hatred.
"Hmm… this dolphin became enraged as soon as it saw me," Leyvi muttered, observing the beast carefully.
The screech had been translated by his Universal Language benefit. It simply meant "human." The creature expressed pure, burning loathing toward all humans.
Even so, the dolphin still did not immediately attack. This showed that it retained at least some control over its mind despite the red eyes.
"Are you sure you don't need my help, Mr. Bison?" Leyvi asked. "I wanted to show off a little in front of my nephew so he'll be motivated to cultivate later. But if you embarrass yourself here, my image will be ruined."
"Snort!"
"After I awakened my Protagonist Bloodline, I still haven't had the chance to use it in a real fight yet," Mr. Bison replied arrogantly. "Boss, you just stay there obediently and watch me vanquish this mini villain. Maybe you can learn a thing or two."
Leyvi's mouth twitched. Protagonist Bloodline? What kind of bloodline is that? You mean Delusional Bloodline.
"Sure," Leyvi agreed with a sigh. "Just make sure you don't look like an idiot."
He was genuinely curious about Mr. Bison's power. He had not yet seen it in action personally. Besides, he was somewhat confused about something else.
The bloodline gem Mr. Bison had created, the one that could summon a diamond barrier, was clearly derived from his Heavenly Lord Diamond Body. So how had it become a bloodline power?
Several parts of Mr. Bison's body had also transformed to be diamond-like, such as his horns, the center of his forehead, and his hooves. These physical changes were directly related to the bloodline they had awakened.
Take Senior Lapin for example. When he transformed into his rabbit form, he looked like a fluffy cloud, reflecting his Celestial Cloud bloodline.
As for Scarlet, she had grown two additional tails, which were definitely connected to the bloodline she had awakened. However, Leyvi still did not know exactly what bloodline power she had inherited.
"Snort!"
"Just watch, Boss," Mr. Bison replied confidently.
A powerful bloodline aura suddenly erupted from his body, sweeping across the surrounding area like a golden storm.
The demonic dolphin, which had been staring at Leyvi with intense hatred, immediately felt the overwhelming pressure. Its eyes widened in shock. Although the bison was only at the Commander Level, the bloodline power it released rivaled that of a General Level demonic beast.
The dolphin wasted no time. It turned around and tried to flee back toward the sea. The bison was clearly much stronger than it was, so there was no point in fighting. Besides, the land was not its preferred battlefield. Its combat power was greatly reduced here. If they fought, it would definitely lose.
"Snort!"
"Do you think you can run from Lord Bison?" Mr. Bison shouted arrogantly. He raised his front right leg high, his diamond-like hoof gleaming under the sunlight.
"Earth Splitting Stomp!"
He brought his hoof down with tremendous force.

The ground split apart in a straight line, creating a massive, deep chasm that stretched from where Mr. Bison stood all the way past the fleeing dolphin. Trees, rocks, and soil crumbled and fell into the newly formed abyss.
Unfortunately, the dolphin was swimming through the air, so it did not fall into the chasm. It continued fleeing southward without slowing down.
"Damn it! It's not working!" Mr. Bison yelled in surprise. "Oi, dolphin! Come back here!"
Leyvi facepalmed, completely speechless.
Of course it's not working, you idiot! It's hovering in the air! he thought. Sigh… I shouldn't have trusted this retarded bison.
Mr. Bison could not even chase after the dolphin because of the giant chasm he had just created himself.
Without waiting for Mr. Bison to follow up with his next "brilliant" move, Leyvi decided to take action first.
He took a deep breath and shouted loudly toward the fleeing dolphin, his voice amplified by Qi. "Oi, you coward stupid dolphin! Where are you going? Are you scared of me, a weak human? Are all dolphins as cowardly as you?"
He had something he wanted to confirm by provoking the beast.
The demonic dolphin heard Leyvi's taunt. Thanks to the Universal Language benefit, it understood every word. The insult immediately triggered its rage.
A puny human dares to insult me?
"KREEEEE!"
The dolphin spun around instantly and charged back through the air at terrifying speed. Its eyes glowed bright red with uncontrollable fury.
"It's working!" Leyvi exclaimed.
The demonic dolphin now behaved exactly like all the other crazed beasts he had encountered before. Leyvi suspected that while the dolphin had been affected by whatever force was driving them mad, its mental fortitude had been strong enough to keep some sanity and think logically. However, his provocation had finally pushed it over the edge, causing the crazed effect to completely consume its mind.
"Mr. Bison, don't fail this time!" Leyvi reminded him as he retreated to stand firmly on the bison's broad back.
The crazed demonic dolphin hardened its body, making its snout sharper and more pointed like a spear. It began spinning rapidly, turning itself into a living horizontal tornado. Its sharp fins sliced through the air, releasing chaotic air blades that tore apart everything in its path as it accelerated toward them with deadly intent.
"Snort!"
Seeing the dolphin's ferocious charge, Mr. Bison prepared his own move.
The diamond patch on his forehead glowed with brilliant light. In just a split second, his entire body transformed into solid diamond.
He was now a literal diamond bison.
Surprisingly, even though his whole body had turned into diamond, it did not hinder his movement at all. He could still move as freely and powerfully as before.
The tornado-like dolphin and the diamond bison collided with tremendous force.
The impact sent powerful shockwaves rippling outward, flattening nearby trees and kicking up massive clouds of dust and debris. Mr. Bison's hooves dug deep into the ground as he was pushed back several dozen meters, leaving long, deep gouges in the earth. Despite the immense force, he remained completely unharmed. Not a single crack appeared on his diamond body.
The dolphin, however, fared far worse. The moment it struck Mr. Bison, its own attacking power rebounded violently upon itself. Mr. Bison's damage-reflecting ability sent the full force of the impact back into the dolphin's body. Every bone shattered instantly, and every organ ruptured. The dolphin's spinning motion stopped abruptly. Its body went limp and crumpled lifelessly to the ground.
Mr. Bison's diamond form shimmered and faded away, returning him to his usual majestic golden appearance.
"Hahaha! Look, Boss! All according to plan!" Mr. Bison bragged loudly. "This idiot dolphin had no chance against my Protagonist Bloodline!"
Leyvi rolled his eyes. According to your plan, my ass!
He realized it must have been really hard for Scarlet to keep things under control during their time together in the Mystic Realm.
"Is the full body transformation from your bloodline power or your Unique Heavenly Body?" Leyvi asked the bison curiously.
"It's from my bloodline," Mr. Bison replied proudly. "The bloodline I awakened also has a strong connection with diamonds. Amazing, right Boss? Truly befitting a handsome protagonist like me."
Leyvi blinked. Isn't that a bit redundant?
Demonic beasts of the same species could awaken vastly different bloodlines, while demonic beasts of entirely different species could sometimes awaken the same one.
Since the Sturdy talent Leyvi had given Mr. Bison already granted him powers closely related to diamond, having a bloodline that also revolved around diamond initially felt somewhat redundant. If the bison had awakened a completely different bloodline, he might have gained more diverse abilities.
But then a thought occurred to him. Could this be the reason Mr. Bison's bloodline power is so much stronger than his current level? Since the two powers were closely related, they might have amplified each other. Leyvi connected the dots.
Realizing this, he no longer saw it as a waste. It might be redundant, but if it caused Mr. Bison's overall strength to far exceed what his realm suggested, that was actually even better in his opinion.
In any case, given Mr. Bison's level of intellect, having many abilities might not help much.

Soon after, the hundreds of demonic beasts attacking the sect's barrier were swiftly eliminated by Valenia and Cempaka.
The thousands of anxious disciples and elders inside the sect had been watching nervously as their defensive barrier was relentlessly assaulted. Their eyes widened in shock when they saw a massive broadsword descend from the sky.
The enormous blade sliced through dozens of demonic beasts in a single swing, cutting them cleanly in half. This was immediately followed by a devastating rain of Qi spears that impaled and killed every surviving beast.
The Mountain Dew Sect crisis was resolved just like that.
The people inside the sect stared in awe, wondering which powerful expert had suddenly appeared to save them from this dire situation.
