Chapter Cover Side Story - The Days on Kuja's Eastern Route · Golden Wind
The hotpot was a complete mess, with only bright red soup remaining in the pot. Dozens of chopsticks lay scattered chaotically around it.
Heavy snow drifted endlessly from the sky as five people lay in the snow with their heads gathered together.
Sandersonia and Mari were fighting over B.I.B.'s faceplate, apparently trying to see some kind of interesting thing inside it.
Hancock raised her eyes toward the empty space in the middle of the five heads, where the Black Battle Armor stood alone with its arms folded.
Robin raised a hand, pinching a snowflake between her fingers with a faint smile on her lips.
Liam felt that the atmosphere right now was somehow a little…
As though linked to his thoughts, the faceplate Sandersonia and Mari were fighting over suddenly flashed with white light through its narrow eyes,
And then a click sound like pressing a stereo button echoed from within…
"Giorno attacked the Providence Royal Palace?!"
Admiral Sengoku wiped away the tea he had just sprayed across his desk while reading the latest report, immediately feeling another headache coming on.
Was there something wrong with Giorno's brain?
Either he disappeared completely for an entire month without a trace,
Or the moment he resurfaced, he caused trouble everywhere.
Did he want to stay low-profile or high-profile?!
Sengoku seriously couldn't understand him.
Still, after carefully reading through the report, Sengoku relaxed slightly.
"So he only seriously injured Elizabeth II and his Military Advisor… Though the advisor's crippled now, as long as nobody died, this matter is still manageable…"
Sengoku tapped his desk thoughtfully.
Publicly provoking Elizabeth II and demanding he use the King's Punch…
Did this Giorno seriously have nothing better to do?
He had already fought someone on Whitebeard's level, yet he still wasted time doing such pointless nonsense.
He is way too idle!
…
Sengoku wasn't given much time to think about the Providence Kingdom incident before another urgent report arrived.
It couldn't be helped.
Nominally speaking, he was the only active Marine Admiral currently on duty.
Everything that didn't need to go directly to the Fleet Admiral was dumped onto his desk all at once.
Fortunately, Sengoku possessed a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit and had stamina far beyond ordinary humans, he would've overworked himself into early retirement long ago.
He had only just poured himself another cup of tea.
After glancing at the report,
He immediately sprayed it everywhere again.
"Charlotte Katakuri led ships to attack the Magara Kingdom?!"
Slapping the desk, Sengoku gritted his teeth while suppressing the urge to roar.
"Magara is a member nation of the World Government! Haven't the Big Mom Pirates stretched their hands too far this time…?!"
…
As usual, Sengoku spent the entire day inside his office processing enormous amounts of information sent from Headquarters and the various branches.
He methodically assigned missions and issued orders one after another while Marines constantly hurried in and out of his office receiving commands.
When Garp dropped by as usual, he happened to find Kizaru there as well.
It wasn't that Garp particularly loved coming over to steal Sengoku's senbei crackers,
Rather, even though Garp refused promotion to Admiral, he couldn't deny the reality that Sengoku was currently the only serving Admiral at Headquarters, while Garp himself was effectively treated as one anyway.
If possible, Garp genuinely liked hanging around Sengoku's office from time to time, discussing matters and helping ease some of Sengoku's burden.
Naturally…
If he happened to swipe a few senbei while there, that was perfectly reasonable too, right?
The moment he entered and heard that Giorno had retaliated by nearly beating the Providence Kingdom's War King and Military Advisor to death with a single punch, Garp burst into loud laughter.
"Hahaha! I knew that brat wouldn't behave himself if he went to Providence Kingdom!"
Sengoku snapped irritably:
"What the hell are you laughing for?! Kizaru, get moving already."
"Okaaay~~"
Kizaru stood up lazily.
"Going to Providence Kingdom?" Garp sat down and started crunching on senbei. "After causing something like that, Giorno definitely isn't planning to stay there long, right? Hey Sengoku, do you remember what place is closest to Providence Kingdom?"
Sengoku thought briefly.
"Dressrosa?"
Garp burst out laughing.
"Sengoku, haven't you figured out the JoJo Pirates' style yet? Do you seriously think there's any chance they wouldn't stop by Dressrosa?"
"…"
Sengoku frowned before glancing toward Kizaru at the door.
"If you don't find them in Providence Kingdom, then go check Dressrosa."
"Okaaay~~"
Kizaru understood immediately.
He decided to head straight to Dressrosa instead.
If Giorno and the others came, great.
If not, he'd just treat it as a two-day vacation.
The Log Pose Robin produced from her palm was naturally Dressrosa's Eternal Pose.
Liam had told her that Providence Kingdom was an allied nation of Dressrosa, so there was definitely a place there selling Eternal Poses leading to Dressrosa.
And besides,
Dressrosa supposedly had a centuries-old legend about fairies.
Since they were already nearby, if they didn't stop by to take a look, could they even still call themselves human?
So, while Robin went off to acquire the Pose, Liam, having nothing better to do, decided to go "practice" a bit with that so-called King's Punch.
Liam returned disappointed with his side of things.
Robin's side, meanwhile, hadn't gone very smoothly either.
Perhaps because Dressrosa was such a popular tourist destination, the Eternal Poses had already sold out in several streets' worth of shops throughout the royal city of Providence Kingdom.
After thinking about it, Robin decided that instead of continuing to search shops around the island's surrounding towns, it would be faster to head directly to the one place guaranteed to have Dressrosa Eternal Poses in stock.
The royal palace of the Providence Kingdom.
Since the two nations were allies, the palace would definitely have a Dressrosa Eternal Pose, right?
Arriving outside the royal palace, Robin glanced from afar at the noisy crowd gathered beyond the palace walls before looking up toward the "arrogantly showboating" Liam atop the walls.
She couldn't help smiling.
Liam really had succeeded in drawing all attention inside and outside the palace onto himself.
With a thought, flowers bloomed throughout the palace corridors, rooftops, ceilings, and countless hidden corners,
Growing into eyes and ears.
As flowers bloomed and scattered, Robin's countless eyes and ears rapidly "surveyed" the rough layout of the entire palace from left to right, inside and out.
Afterward, she focused specifically on places resembling storage rooms, studies, treasure vaults, and similar locations, successively forming Flower Clones one after another to search them personally.
A huge explosion echoed from outside.
Apparently that king's so-called King's Punch had finally gone off.
Robin wasn't worried about Liam in the slightest, however, and continued calmly searching for Dressrosa's Eternal Pose.
If one room didn't have it, she dispersed the Flower Clone and moved on to the next hall.
…
"Found it."
Robin quickly discovered a shelf filled with Log Poses inside a storage chamber within one of the palace halls. The room was piled with sea charts, books, and ancient scrolls.
Among the densely packed collection of Log Poses, she swiftly located the one labeled "Dressrosa."
Since she needed to bring the item back to her real body waiting outside the palace, she naturally couldn't simply dismiss the Flower Clone now.
However, at that moment, the Flower Clone overheard whispers from people passing outside.
Naturally, Robin had arranged Flower Eyes and Flower Ears around the clone as surveillance while infiltrating the palace to steal something.
On a stone pillar in the outer corridor, a beautiful Flower Eye and Flower Ear observed two hurried figures walking away in low conversation.
"…The Antique Thieves Group?"
"Who else spends all day targeting antiques besides them?"
"Damn it… They actually infiltrated our royal palace and stole something. And they really succeeded…"
"Luckily nobody's noticed yet… We should ask for leave and get out of here first!"
"Obviously we're running away… What, were you planning to recover the stolen item?"
"Bullshit. Have you ever heard of anything successfully recovered after being stolen by the Antique Thieves Group?"
The Flower Eye and Flower Ear on the pillar dissolved into drifting petals.
After watching the two figures disappear into the distance, Robin's Flower Clone quietly stepped out from the palace hall, thoughtful for a moment before quickly following after them.
