As the female assassin appeared out of nowhere once again, Wu Yuansheng, spurred by Wu Jianjian's alarmed scream, made a clumsy roll and narrowly dodged the woman's dagger.
"Die!"
Her first attack having failed, the assassin readjusted her stance and lunged at Wu Yuansheng with her dagger once more.
"Get behind me."
Qin Lin suddenly stepped forward. He certainly couldn't stand by and watch Wu Yuansheng die in front of him.
Wu Yuansheng pulled Wu Jianjian and frantically ran toward Qin Lin. He then gestured to the bodyguards surrounding the female assassin, "Catch her! Don't let her escape!"
"With just them?"
The assassin snorted coldly and counter-charged.
In less than three minutes, amidst a flurry of clangs, thuds, and pained cries, the surrounding bodyguards had been easily taken down one by one.
"What...? How...?"
Seeing how fierce the female assassin was, both Wu Yuansheng and Wu Jianjian were completely dumbfounded.
